After abandoning the pro registration side, Peter was forced to go into hiding which as a result made him an enemy of the state but due to him being unable to be Spider-Man again but still wanting to protect neo Tech City, Peter threw together some clothes he got at a thrift store into a makeshift costume that can conceal his identity and allow him to stay in hiding but Peter couldn't stay in hiding forever and returned to being Spider-Man and Nick Fury had a skrull pretend to be Peter Parker while the real Peter was wearing the Spider-Man suit at the same time while Dr strange used one of his spells to erase the memory of Peter unmasking himself in front of the world including from Peter himself
