The redhead was still in shock about what had happened downstairs. Andy however was just staring at the blonde with squinted eyes. “So she's definitely a fairy, right? What I saw downstairs wasn't my mind playing tricks on me.”
“Yep, she's definitely a fairy.”
“So, that means you're one as well,” Andy concluded looking back at Bloom. The redhead rolled her eyes, “No I'm not.”
“Yes, you are.”
The two looked at Stella who was staring at them. “You may not believe me but you are a fairy.”Bllom sighed, taking a small step toward the blonde. “Say what you're saying is true and I am a fairy. How did I end up here on Earth?” Bloom asked the blonde.
Stella shrugged. “I’ve never heard of it happening before but it could be any number of ways.”
Andy and Bloom shared a look.
“Like one of your ancestors could have had magic and it skipped your parents for some reason but appeared in you.”Bloom frowned and she glanced at Andy who answered, “But she’s adopted.”
Stella looked at them with wide eyes. “That's actually better. Do you know anything about them?” Bloom just shook her head and Stella shrugged again. “Your biological parents could have been magic but something must've happened and they had to give you up. I’m not sure why they would have brought you to Earth though. . .Sorry, Bloom.”
Bloom waved away her apologies and she stepped closer. Not once since she found out she was adopted did she ever think about her biological parents. To her, Vanessa and Mike were her parents. According to her they're the ones who birthed, raised, and took care of her. She never cared for learning about her parents.
Not until today.
Stella noticed the girl's gaze far away and she glanced around Bloom's room. “Cool room, Bloom. You should take it with you when we go to Alfea,” Stella said. Bloom looked around her mess of her room. Her clothes were scattered everywhere and her books and CD's were on the floor. She never got a chance to clean it up yesterday. She was too tired to do so.
“All you need is a packing spell. All of this will fit into a small handbag.”
Bloom glanced at her best friend before looking back at Stella. “If I even go to Alfea,” Bloom said softly, more to herself than to Stella. She went to sit on the bed, beside Stella.
“What’s holding you back?”
Bloom felt a laugh bubbling. “Yeah, what is holding you back?” Andy asked.Bloom looked up surprised that Andy was the one who asked that. “You think I should go?” Bloom asked her friend and he shrugged. “I mean, why not?”
“Aside from the fact my parents won’t let me, I found out I was a fairy like five minutes ago, a fact I can still hardly believe, and I have absolutely no control over my powers?” Bloom said looking at the two. Andy stepped closer to them. “You won't know until you try.”
Stella grinned up at Andy which made the boy blush and she looked back at Bloom again. “Firstly, even if they say no, you just can’t take no for an answer. Secondly, you better start believing it because you’ve got magic and thirdly, that’s why you’re going to Alfea, to learn how to control your powers,” Stella told the girl.
