┊𖤐₊˚. ࿐ྂ。Bloom had received a text the moment she entered Alfea library. It was Eren. She had not heard from the boy in a while and now he wanted to text her. She rolled her eyes, putting her cell back in her pocket.
Alfea library contained more books than a single person could ever hope to read in a lifetime. Bloom had occasionally came in here searching for some books and everytime she was scared by the fairy who watched over the books. She was lean but short fairy with short and thick cloud shaped purple hair.Miss Barbatea scared the hell out of everyone in this school.
Kiko was hidden within Bloom’s jumper. She wasn't sure if animals were allowed but she was sure they likely weren't.Bloom walked along reading the golden plaques fixed on the end of each of the row contents.
“Trolls, ghosts, leprechauns. . .”
Miss Barbatea who sat at a large desk in the centre of the library glanced up when Bloom passed her. “Still getting the hang of the Dewey Magical System?” Barbatea asked the redhead.
Bloom approached the fairy’s desk. “Yeah, I need info about a nymph,” Bloom said. “Where do I look?”
“Why are you asking me when the library catalogue's over there?” Barbatea asked. She may know every book but the students usually looked through the library catalogue for the book they need since it would directly give them the specified book they're looking for.
Bloom followed Miss Barbatea's eyes and she saw a small semi-circle shaped area with a dais and a solid gold lectern atop it.
“Oh.”She walked over to the gold lectern. Bloom saw the ornate gold detailing forming a butterfly whose wings would hold the pages of a book.
“That's a catalogue?”
She stepped forward to it. “Keyword?” the catalogue asked surprising Bloom. She didn't think it spoke. At this point she really shouldn't be surprise if objects started talking.
Bloom had to consider what she wanted to know. She wanted to know about Nymph but she wanted to first see if it'll work. She needed to try something first.
Bloom cleared her throat and spoke up, “Town hall.”
Bloom summoned magic to her hand before pressing it down on the lectern. A book slid from a nearby shelf and flew to the catalogue, placing it on to the podium. Bloom’s eyes were wide as she stared over at the book.
“Wow, that's so cool!”She looked up again before saying, “Magix Monthly.”
The book opened up on the page from this month's news. Bloom frowned looking down at the page. “'This month's events at Town Hall: sorcerer soccer'. Wrong book. Not that goblin goalies don't sound interesting,” Bloom read and she closed the book.
She should have been specific when she said town hall. Bloom wanted to know if the nymph she saw on the town hall facade was Daphne. “Town hall Facade.”
Bloom used her magic to activate the catalogue again. Two books flew from the shelves to her and immediately flipped open.Bloom read over it and her eyes widened when she read the title at the top. “Hey, this is the book about the Great Dragon,” Bloom said and her eyes moved down to read further. “'The facade of Magix's Town Hall features nymph, Daphne'.”
Bloom smiled to herself. “It was her. It's Daphne.”
She almost jumped in excitement but she contained herself. Now she needed to find more information about Daphne.
Maybe one of these books can tell Bloom what connection she had to Daphne.
“Nymph of the Magical Dimension,” Bloom said clearly. She waited patiently but there was no sign of anything happening. The girl straightened, cleared her throat and said it a bit louder, “Nymph of the Magical Dimension.”
