I Have Loved You For Too Long.

I never believe in love at first sight

But you suddenly came and gave me a new light

Too young to know what love is

Too young to think hugs and kiss

Everyday seems so ordinary and normal

But you showed me tons of colors in my world that is so dull

You gave me goals to pursue in my life

Self-improvement,career,achievements and to be your wife

Our time together didn't last

Days,weeks,months and years had past

Time flies but my love for you still remains

Even though I know that all I get from you are pains

After all that, I still want to thank you

For showing me love has different colors and hue

For letting me make you as my inspiration

For loving you even though friendship is our only relation

I also want to say I'm sorry to you

For not fighting for what I really feel

For not showing you what I really feel

For not telling you that I love you

It's already a decade that I have loved you

But I well know that you won't Love me too

A very long battle of love that I never won

So I guess it's time for me to let go and move on.
