The Hero and the Anti-Hero (Sonadow)

POV: 3rd person

As the 3 heroes get rid of the robots, the ebony one watched and shaked in fear with tears rolling down his muzzle. Once they got rid of the robots, the azure hedgehog ran and grabbed the remote and broke it. Sonic tried everything to open the door. Once he finally found the button to open the door, he pressed it and dashed inside the room.

POV: Sonic

When I found the button that opened the door, I immediately pressed it and dashed inside the room shadow was in. The room was big, the walls were white anf had a huge glass wall infront. I walkted to shadow and reached out for his hand. He wanted to hold it but suddenly, he hissed. "Shadow?" I said calmly. "Sonic! Behind you!" Amy shouted and the doors closed.

"Hahahahahahaha! I got you now, you blue rodent! Now eat this!.. My remote! It's broken!" He shouted but he stopped. "Okay.. How about this!" He shouted again and pressed a button that let out robots but I managed to spin dash them. I sighed by how easy it was to defeat his robots, it's no fun at all! I glanced at shadow and stared at him. He was so scared. I looked away and saw that Eggman was gone.

Then, I heard another voice.

"Don't worry guys! I'll get you out of there!" "Tails!" We all shouted with amazement and Eggman came out with 5 giant robots around him. We shouted abit too loud. "Robots, attack!!" He shouted and they all got into their fighting stance and of course, tried to fight them. But they were too powerful. Amy and Knucks was fighting while Tails used his invention to break the glass. It worked, so I picked shadow up in bridal style and dashed out of the room. But his face was red when I picked him up. Does he have a fever? I thought.

POV: Shadow

When that fox boy finally broke the glass, Sonic picked me up and dashed out. But I didn't expect him to do that. I thought he would just drag my arm. I blushed madly and I covered my mouth.

When we got out of Eggman's Lair, he stopped and looked at me. Is he worried about me? "Shadow, are you okay?" He asked me calmly with a tone of worry in his voice. "Does it look like I am?" I replied annoyingly. "Geez, Okay. Don't have to be so rude.." He rolled his eyes, he was still holding me in his arms so I got the chance to hug him. "Thank you." I said and he replied back "Don't mention it." I pulled away and he gave me a warm smile.

"Do you wanna rest?" "No, I need my chaos energy." "Oh, right. I'll find you a safe spot to-" "Sonic, I'll be fine out here. Just go." I said and I softened my gaze. "Fine, but what if Eggman's robots' attack you? You don't have your powers!" "It's okay Sonic." ...

"Alright, I'll leave you here then. Becareful." Sonic said and he gently put me on the ground.

POV: Sonic

I gently put Shadow to the ground. I gave him a smile and a wink before heading back to Eggmans' lair. "Tails! Can you make sure Shadow doesn't get hurt?!" I shouted to him and he turned to me and gave me a thumbs up. He ran outside and I fought. They took 3 of the robots down, 2 more to go.
