POV: Shadow
When the others were fighting, Tails put a forcefield on me and ran back inside. I could hear loud noises coming from Eggmans Lair. When it stopped, all 4 of them came outside and the forcefield dissapeared.
I tried standing up but I stumbled back and fell on my ass. "Ow." I winced. The red echidna spoke. "I'll just carry him then." he said. "Let me do it, knux." Sonic said and he picked me up in bridal style. Then he had a smirk on his face. I rolled my eyes playfully and looked away.
"What? Embarrassed?" He said in a flirty tone and I blushed "No. Let's just go home." They looked at eachother for a minute. "Well? Let's go." I spoke. "Actually.. Uhm.." The fox said. I searched around for their plane but it wasn't there. "Wait, how did you guys get here?" I asked.
...
"AAAAAAAAHH!!" I screamed when sonic almost dropped me. "I'M SORRY! TAILS STOP FLYING SO FAST!" "I JUST WANNA GO HOME, SONIC. HAVING YOU GUYS HOLD MY HANDS AND SHOES ARE SO TIRING! I EVEN PASSED OUT!" The fox yelled.
Knuckles was holding Tails' left hand, while me and Sonic were on the right. Amy was holding Tails' shoes. She was sweating and panting while looking at how high up we were.
We all were screaming as the fox flew faster and faster. I was about to fall down because Sonic's gloves were sweaty. I fell down and my eyes widened. "AAAAAAAAH"
I screamed and they were all looking at me. "SHADOW!!" Sonic and Amy shouted. Tails was flying down to catch me but before he could, I fell and I passed out.
POV: Tails
We heard Shadow scream and looked at him. "SHADOW!!" Sonic and Amy shouted. Sonic shaked my hand violently giving me a sign to fly down. I did as told but I was too late. Shadow already fell in the water. I knew Sonic wasn't going to go and save him, because he's afraid of water. But to my suprise, he actually did. He fell in the water to save Shadow.
POV: Sonic
"Fuck the water." I said to myself and let go of Tails' hand. I was really scared of water, but my guts just told me to save him. I fell in and swam deeper and reached for Shadow's hand. He lifted his hand and I swap deeper and depper to finally grab his hand. I tried to swim back up, but I couldn't swim. So I tried my best to swim but I just couldn't. Then I saw Tails' swimming deeper and grab a hold onto my hand.
