Naibuga ni Cynthia ang iniinom niyang strawberry juice dahil sa sinabi ni Rudy aka Candy.
Dali ko namang iniabot ang tissue sa kanya, na siyang ipinunas sa kanyang bibig at inihampas pabalik kay Rudy at dahil dito, nalagyan ng mantsa ang puting polo ni Rudy pero lumilipad parin ang isip nitong nakatingin sa opisina ng CEO.
"Bakla, ano bang pinagsasabi mo?" Gulat na tanong ni Cynthia.
Pinagpatuloy ko naman ang pagtimpla ng aking kape habang panaka-naka ring sumisilip sa opisina ni Kassandra, pansin ang dami ng dokumento sa lamesa nito at ang dami ng taong pinapatawag niya.
"Ngumiti si Boss sa akin, Cynthia, NGU-MI-TI. Mahal ko na yata siya, ang ganda ganda niya! Mas lalo pa siyang gumanda!" Baritono ang boses ni Rudy na nakahawak pa sa kanyang dibdib habang sinasabi ito pero kumekembot ang bewang.
Hinampas ni Cynthia ang pang-upo ni Rudy.
"Malandi ka, hindi ko naman nakita si Boss na ngumiti sayo, hindi lang siya nakasimangot sa atin Bakla. Pero agree ako sayo, lalo siyang gumanda ngayon, iba ang aura niya, blooming!"
I smiled while taking a sip of my coffee. Nasa lamesa rin niya ang iniiwan kong single white carnation and a cup of coffee every morning for two weeks now, malapit iyon sa pen holder niya at minsan ay nakikita kong pinagmamasdan niya ito.
A beautiful smile was formed in her lips everytime she takes a look at it, which makes her employees go crazy. Who wouldn't? It is rare to see her smile and once she does, you have no choice but to be blown away.
It's been a bliss since the company's trip in Boracay, she's been treating me like her girlfriend, though we haven't talked about labels I am satisfied with this setup, just taking good care of Kassandra.
Most of the time, I told her to be discreet about it especially in the office since I don't want the Board to know and give her a hard time but your temptress surely knows how to use those hands and lips, it is torture.
"Rudy, you are being called by President." Pagtawag ng isang empleyado pagkatapos nitong lumabas sa opisina ni Kassandra nang nakangiti, nakatayo at naghihintay naman ang iba habang bumuntong-hininga na tila nalulungkot at hindi pa sila natatawag.
Tumili si Rudy hindi dahil sa takot kundi sa tuwa habang patawa-tawang tumingin ang ibang empleyado, nahihiyang napasapo ng ulo si Cynthia at pinaghahampas ang balikat ni Rudy.
He cleared his throat, straighten his tie and ran a hand on his hair to make it messy.
Hate to break your chance Rudy but baby ko na yon.
Napailing na lang akong nagkakape dito habang nagche-cheer ang lahat kay Rudy.
"Ember."
Hindi ko napansin ang pagdating ni Yveria.
She's the head of the Internal Audit Section, introverted, highly competent and efficient in her work and equally gorgeous.
Tinanguan niya ako na sumunod sa kwarto niya. We met because I unintentionally discovered a strategy on how to help her with her work and that what made us friends, she's helping me also in return.
Pagkaupong-pagkaupo ko sa sofa, she cut out the chase.
"You didn't tell me you're Kassandra's barista now. Same smell, same consistency, bet same taste too. Make sure the others can't trace where you get your flowers."
She rapidly types at her desktop and switches to her laptop, long fingers cascading everywhere and I begin to wonder if she and the CEO are somehow related since they both have some extremely good genes and unparalleled intelligence.
Matagal din siyang nagstay sa States for training but I think she extended her stay to take a breather and now she's back, mas nabuhayan na ang dugo ng mga empleyado pero mapapansing na-iintimidate ang Board of Directors sa pagbalik nito.
"Welcome back, have you enjoyed your stay? Met someone?" I teased her while eyeing the mountain of files at her desk.
"It's fine and I don't have time to waste for anyone." She coldly mumbled, still typing gracefully on her laptop.
Sayang naman ang ganda, sexy at talino nito.
"Maybe you should have, it's good for the heart."
There's an entire ream of documents marked 'Confidential' which she swiftly scanned with raised brow and skeptic eye.
"Last time I did, that someone broke it. I hope Kassandra got time for you even though she got loads of work."
She entirely stopped what she's doing and stared directly at me.
Yes, nakaka-intimidate nga ang tingin niya pero mas nangingibabaw ang ganda nito kahit sobrang sungit.
"She makes sure that she has."
Nginitian ko siya at ginantihan niya ako ng tipid na ngisi.
"Good, I'm proud of her. She'll be looking for you in a minute. Now take this file and get out of here."
As on cue, I received a text message from the CEO saying
'Baby, please come here, I need a recharge hug.'
