If there is one thing I prefer to anything, it is spending time with Brian. If it was up to me, I would just move in with him. Of course, my family would never agree to such but if it was up to me, I would be with him all the time. Today we had a wonderful afternoon, we played video games and kissed each other more. I should buy a flu pack on my way home just to be ready because I know I am getting sick eventually.

Brian and I had a wonderful day although his cousin would just barge into the room every five seconds. I don't mean any disrespect but those trips and things he was asking about didn't make sense at all. Maybe I am looking too much into it. Maybe I am used to being alone with Brian. He is always home alone or with Akhona and Akhona never bothers him.

It's almost three pm and I should get back home. I also need to buy the wine Wandile asked me to buy. I cannot wait to meet Loraine. My brother speaks highly of her. I hope I get along with her the same way I get along with Sharon. In fact, it would be nice if all three of us got along - it would make my brother happy.

"Baby, I have to get going," I say to Brian. I have my head resting on his shoulder. We are watching a movie on his laptop.

"You are leaving me already?"

"I am not leaving you - I am just going back home then I will see you tomorrow," I get off the bed and put my shoes on.

"Sounds like you are leaving me."

I lean and kiss him, "Quit being a big baby. We will talk on the phone. Let me use the bathroom and then you walk me out."

I head out of his room, the bathroom is just two doors away from his room. I bump into Colleen. He is coming out of one of the rooms. We are walking toward each other and sort of block each other's way. When I go to the left, he also goes to the left.

I chuckle, "I am sorry, you go first."

"Ladies first," he makes way for me.

"Thank you," I head to the bathroom, fix myself up and then join Brian in his room. He has changed his clothes, he is driving me home and then he will catch a taxi back home. I say my goodbye to Colleen and then leave for my house.

Brian passes by the gas station and fills up my tank. I don't know when I last filled my tank, Brian always does that for me. He also helps me look for the wine before driving me home. We park the car outside my house and enjoy a few moments with each other.

"Are you going to work tomorrow?" I ask Brian. "I mean you look fine now."

"I don't work Sundays, why do you keep forgetting?"

"I am always at home so days are starting to confuse me," I retort, "Let's go out for lunch tomorrow, my treat."

"I could never say no to food."

I kiss him, "You can take my car with you so you can pick me up tomorrow."

"What if I flee the country with it?"

I laugh, "Are you forgetting I have Uncle Shawn."

"That man would haunt me down and kill me. My love let me love you and leave you. I am sure Colleen is bored alone."

I hug him, "I love you."

"No, I love you."

I wave at him as he drives away and then make my way into the house. It smells good, Chef Wandile is making magic in the kitchen. I wash my hands and then help him. He started late so there is no way he will be done before Loraine gets here. When we are done cooking, I set up the table while Wandile showers. I receive a call from Brian.

Me: Hey my love, did you drive safe? I forgot to call you. I was helping Wandile cook.

Brian: I arrived home safe and your car is still in one piece.

Me: I trust you with my baby. My throat is starting to hurt, I hope I didn't catch your flu.

Brian: You were kissing a sick person all afternoon. What were you expecting?

Me: What was I supposed to do? I am madly in love with my sick person.

Brian: I will buy you a flu kit tomorrow.

Me: Thanks, babe. Let me prepare to meet Loraine then we can gossip later.

Brian: (laughing) You know I will be waiting.

After setting up the table I go to my room to freshen up and also tell Sharon about Loraine. And also catch a little, she is telling me about how it's like living with Tawana. She keeps emphasizing on how things are different from when two people are dating and when they start living together. I can also tell that she needed to vent. I also tell her not to hesitate to tell Uncle Shawn if Tawana starts acting up. She can also tell Wandile and I am sure he will sort his brother out. We are family now and we should look out for each other.

"How do I look?" Wandile asks standing by the door.

"You look great but please lose the tie. What is it with you and ties?"

"I should ask you. You are the one that always has a problem with my tie. I am not taking it off. I am going to get Loraine in town," he says.

"Hurry back, I am starving."

"She is sleeping over by the way," he says before closing the door.

I sigh and open my wardrobe. I think I should change into a dress. I take out a string top black dress that is above the knees. I also add sandals. I tie my weave up and then do my makeup. I receive a call from a number I don't recognize.

Me: Hello.

Colleen: Hi, Anesu it's Colleen. I got your number from Brian. I hope you don't mind.

Me: Uhm...not at all. How are you?

Colleen: I am good and how are you

Me: Good too...

Colleen: Are you busy with something?

Me: Kind of...

Colleen: Can we talk on WhatsApp if you don't mind?

Me: Sure...no problem.

I hang up and continue fixing myself. Why would Brian give his cousin my phone number? What am I supposed to talk about with him? I head to the sitting room when I hear a car driving in. I wait for my brother and his woman in the sitting room. They both walk in looking like a match made from heaven. I love her already. Wandile introduces her to me and then we sit at the table.

She doesn't look like a talker - she only talks when spoken to. Maybe it is because it is her first time meeting me. And Wandile is right, she is choosy. She kept asking what has onions and what doesn't. She doesn't like spicy food. She likes specific juices. Luckily we bought wine. She keeps porking her food as if she doesn't want to eat. Maybe it's me, maybe I am used to staying with boys but Loraine is a little extra.

After supper we have desert and she doesn't like chocolate cake. Deep breath! My brother is her boyfriend and he make sure to make only the things she would like and still she is complaining. Wandile leaves me with her, answering a call.

"So what do you do?" I ask Loraine.

"Do you always dress like this?"

"Pardon?" I chuckle, "What do you mean?"

"You can't wear something so revealing with a man around."

"This is not revealing and Wandile is my brother," I retort.

"He is a man and what you are wearing can be tempting to men. You shouldn't dress like that."

Deep breath!
