"Alright everyone, don't forget that next week you must start your internship. If you haven't found one yet, please come and see me. [...] This concludes my little 'welcome back' speech. You're now free to go to your next class." said Mr. Partide, our principal.
As everyone started to get up and leave, I just sat there and stared in the void, completely spaced out. Once there were only a few other students left, I decided to go tell the principal about my nonexistent work placement. So I picked up my bag and laptop and headed in the direction of the principal.
As I approached him, he noticed me.
"Good morning Lily, did you find an internship yet?" He asked
"Well, about that..." I said, scratching the back of my neck. "I didn't."
He had a disappointed look on his face but offered to help me, of course I accepted. I knew he would do that because he's been friends with my mom for a really long time now.
"Well, thanks! I better get going now. Have a great day, Mr. Partide." I said as he watched me leave.

This was my second year at ESRA, and I really liked it here. Last year we learned about everything we needed to make a film. From being behind the camera to editing. Now we need to choose which part of it we like the most and want to continue. It's why we need to go out here and participate in the process of real movies, series, or whatever. It made me stressed to think about it. I'm afraid of messing up.
The day went by very quickly, the teachers presented themselves and what we were going to do this year. Also, It's not a really big school, so I pretty much knew everyone already, except for the ones entering in the first year.
After my last class of the day, I called my best friend, we studied the same thing but he's on his third year so we don't have the same schedules.
"Hi Lucas, do you want to go get a snack together so we can gossip and smoke a cig, per usual?" I asked
"Hell yeah! Meet me at the gate in five, alright ?"
As we agreed, we met up 5 minutes later by the school gate. We hugged and walked to our favourite cafe, holding arms, while talking about our day.

I finally got home, and now all I want to do is just sleep. Although the idea of lying in my bed sounds more than great, I still open my laptop and check my emails just in case I receiveved an answer from any of the producers I contacted. To my surprise, I received one from the principal.

I didn't expect him to find something for me this quickly, but I'm more than happy. I'll finally realize one of my dreams and go on a real set with real famous actors and everything. I decided to call Lucas to announce him the news.
"Pick up come onnn..."
A few seconds later, he finally picks up.
"Hi lil', what's up?" He asks.
"Well, Mr. Partide found an internship for me!! I'll be participating in the shooting of Heartstopper!"
"Oh that's great!! I'm so happy for you."
We talked about it for a bit and then came to the conclusion that we needed to go eat and sleep. I made myself some pasta. While the water was boiling, I looked up the show. I recognized some of the actor's names, but most of them were new to me, just like everything. I wasn't so hungry anymore, so I put the pasta away in a box in the fridge.
3rd person pov:
Lily started to overthink and became anxious about meeting so many new people. She tried to reassure herself but in vain. She then fell asleep a few hours later in front of her laptop. Hopefully for her, the next day was a Saturday so she wouldn't have to get up early and she could just sleep in, or she thought...
