Chapter 6

September 9th

9:45 am

Lily's pov :

Today I had a few important classes that I couldn't miss so I wasn't on set. I was walking to the school and decided to stop by a bakery to get breakfast. Per usual Lucas was waiting for me by the gate. He wasn't looking in my direction so I arrived just behind him and scared him. He turned around and acted like a drama queen.

"Oh my god Lily I almost had a heart attack!" He said, exaggerating it.

"Oh my god Lucas you're such a good actor, I almost thought it was true" I said, full of sarcasm.

He laughed.

"Wow you're so funny" He said while staring at me with a blank face.

"I know, I know. Now let's go shall we?" I asked.

He took me by the arm and dragged me further inside. We then parted and went to our respective classes.

1:00 pm

Lucas' pov :

The bell rang. I stood up, packed my stuff and got out of this boring class which was my last for today. I was so hungry, I called Lily.

"Hello? Hello? Hello?" She said like she doesn't know how her phone works.

"Yes I hear you bitch." I said trying to be serious, "Where do you want to eat?"

"I'm craving McDonald's babe" She said, making kissing noises.

"Don't call me babe ever again please."

"Alright babe, I'll meet you at the gate in 5 minutes" She said, hanging up before I could say anything back.

I sighed and made my way to the gate. There she was, waiting for me, looking excited. We talked about our classes while walking to the closest McDonald's. She kept complaining about being hungry and I kept telling her to shut up. We finally made it and the demon in her was finally tamed once she got her food. I handed her one of my AirPod and we ate in silence while listening to music, like we always do. After we finished, we gossiped for a little while and she told me how her internship was going. I'm happy for her, she seems to really like it.

Lily's pov :

I couldn't stop talking about how much I like working on set. So much that I was almost late to my afternoon class.
I ran in the classroom. Everyone turned around to see who was late. I felt my cheeks get hot. I excused myself for being late and sat down in the back. The class then started, the teacher started talking, everyone was listening. It wasn't a really interesting class, although I still had to follow it.

After about an hour into the class, I felt my phone vibrate in my back pocket. Wondering who could've texted me, I took it out discretely and read the notification. It was a text from Kit. I smiled when I read his text.

KIT CONNOR (the real one yes)

"Hey, we want to go hang in a bar after work, do you know where we should go?
You can also join us if you'd like 😌"

"Of course!! I know a really great place not so far from my appartement 🤭"
Read.

He started typing, I put my phone down as I tried to pay attention to the teacher.
I couldn't hold my curiosity back, so I turned my phone back on.

"Alr cool 👍
I'll let you know when we're done
See you later 😌😌"

Not knowing what to answer, I left him on read.

4:00 pm

"...alright, class is done for today. You're all free to go, have a nice weekend." Said the teacher.

I packed my stuff and headed home. I decided to answer Kit's messages.

"Alr cool 👍
I'll let you know when we're done
See you later 😌😌"

"Yep, call me when y'all are finished 🤙"

I put my headphones on and put my music on.

4:21 pm

After my walk home I decided to get ready to go out later, and since it's Friday I do have the intention to get drunk.
I took a shower and did my makeup. I decided to wear a simple but cute outfit. I put all the stuff I needed in a smaller purse. I was now ready to go out, yet I still had to wait for Kit to call me. So I sat down on my couch and put on an episode of the show I was watching.

6:37 pm

I sat there, looking at my phone, waiting for a call. I kept looking at our conversation, he didn't read my text yet. I set my phone aside and let out a loud sigh. I hesitated to put on another one of the episodes of the thing I was watching. Then my phone rang. I immediately picked up.

"Hello? We finished later than usual sorry." Said Kit, you could hear people chatting behind him.

"Hii, It's okay don't worry I get it." I said, trying not to sound like I was waiting for this call.

"Okay great, so where are we going?" He asked, sounding excited.

"I'll send you the address and we'll meet there if that's okay"

"It's totally fine, we'll see you there!" He said before hanging up.

I sent him the address. Then I grabbed my coat and purse, locked my door and made my way down the stairs. I walked, trying not to rush to the bar. It was a 5 minutes walk. The closer I was getting, the more excited I was. Suddenly I hear a car honk. I turned around just to see Kit, Joe, William and Yasmin in that car. They parked right across the street so I crossed it. They got out of the car and I gave them each la bise. We then walked in the bar together.
