Coupé! (Kit Connor x OC)

Chapter 5

September, 8th

2:03 pm

3rd person pov :

A tiny crowd of people were gathered in the hotel lobby. Some people were chatting, others seemed to be waiting for someone to arrive, eyes not leaving the doors. After a few minutes, 2 young people pushed the door, rushing in. They were out of breath.

"Sorry I couldn't find a place to park" said the young woman.

She looked uncomfortable, most of the crowd was staring at her.

"Did I already mess up?" she thought.

"It's alright darling, don't worry" said a middle aged woman.

The boy who stood next to her was still catching his breath, his cheeks were red. He got called in by some of the staff that had been waiting. The girl walked in as-well. She made her way further in the room, catching the sight of her friend.

Kit's pov:

"Why do you always have to be late?" Asked Joe.

"It's not my fault if everyone parked in the same place" I said, sitting down.

As I sat down, the hairstylists started working on my hair, I was handed the outfit I had to wear. I got changed and went back in the hotel lobby. Andrea, a member of the staff handed me a paper and what appeared to be my script. It was the planning for this afternoon. We were going to record a few scenes around the hotel. I started reading and remembering my lines while everyone finished getting ready.

Lily's pov :

I watched Kit join the makeup artists and hairstylists. He didn't look back but I guess he just got into work mode. I made my way over to my friend and asked if she needed any help. She gratefully accepted my offer and we set up some of the lights we needed and took them to the hotel room we were shooting in. On our way to the room I caught the sight of Kit reading his lines. I tough it was cute seeing him in his little bubble.

After a little while, everything was ready and we started shooting the first scenes in the room. We couldn't stay in the room so we went outside to take a cig break. Surprisingly I wasn't the only one smoking. After this 10 mins break we went back in and got back to work.

5:14 pm

Kit's pov :

We finally finished for today. I was so hungry so I decided to go get a snack. I went down the stairs of the hotel and made my way to the little buffet. I picked up a water bottle and a cereal bar. Before going home I had to get changed so I did that. Finally back in my clothes I said goodbye to everyone and went outside. I started walking, a car went up to me and the window rolled down.

"Get in" said a familiar voice, chuckling.

I recognized Lily's voice. I smiled, opened the door and sat in the passenger seat, next to her.

"How kind of you to offer me a ride my dear." I said smiling at her.

"You're welcome darling" she said, smiling as well.

She then drove off.
