School was about to start back up again and all Luke wanted to do was to make the most of his summer. He and Michael had made plans to see a movie that Monday. It was very cold outside and he had carelessly forgotten to bring a jacket, somehow believing it would be warmer inside the theatre.

Michael has specifically told him to wait outside, that'd he meet him there as soon as he could. The movie they planned on seeing was to begin very shortly; twenty one minutes to be exact. Luke was worried he wasn't going to show, but Michael would never do that. He always stuck to his word no matter how much he didn't want to do something. For example, when his mom told him he was to go to her friend's wedding with her, he was so set on ditching but he knew his mother would be disappointed if he didn't, so he sucked it up and went.

So when minutes passed and soon an hour, Luke was getting pretty tired of waiting. To bystanders, he came off as lonesome. He had sat down on the ground, constantly ringing Michael to hopefully find out what happened to their plans. A small piece of him thought that Michael was still coming, that he got stuck in traffic or something but by now, it was evident that he was a no-show.

Getting up, Luke noticed a boy wearing a leather jacket walking over to him. As he got closer, his facial features were more evident. He had long, golden blonde hair and a very sharp jaw line. He was extremely attractive, anyone could see that.

Stopping in front of the blonde, he spoke rather huskily, "Hi, I couldn't help but notice a beautiful lad like you looking immensely sad. What are you doing all alone?"

"My friend-uh, he stood me up. We were supposed to see a film an hour ago but he never showed." Luke explained, rubbing his hands up and down his arms trying to gain any heat he could.

The stranger nodded at the newly learned information and then noticed how cold he looked, beginning to worry for the shivering blonde. He slid his jacket off and held it out for Luke to take.

"Here, wear this. You're shaking." He said, smiling sympathetically.

Luke hesitantly grabbed it and placed in on himself, instantly feeling warmer than before.

"So, what's your name?" Luke asked curiously.

"Ashton Irwin, and you are?" He asks, ruffling his ragged hair back.

"Luke Hemmings." The blonde introduced, holding his hand out for the other to shake.

Instead, Ashton pulled him in for a hug. Luke stiffened in his hold but soon relaxed. This guy seems nice, what harm could he do?

"You're very formal, Hemmings. Also, hugging gives off body heat which you desperately need. You're welcome." He states, smirking cockily once he pulls back from the hug.

Luke scoffs in return, making Ashton continue, "What do you say we get some coffee?"

The blonde nodded in agreement and followed where the boy he just met led them to. He soon was placed in front of a nice sports car that belonged to Ashton.

"I hope you don't mind taking my car, there's this really good café that's a couple of miles from here that I want to show you. You'll love it, I guarantee it." Ashton persuaded, opening the door for the younger boy before getting in himself.

A few minutes later and they had arrived at a fairly small building that gave off a cozy aura. They walk towards the entrance, Ashton holding the door for his damsel in distress kindly. Walking inside, the interior gives off the impression of a quaint log cabin.
