Chapter 1:10 Years later

(a/n:just a chapter on what went threw those 10 years )

10 years have passed since your parents and Ijin were pronounced dead after the plane crash

Let's just say nothing has been the same since then

You and Dayun and Grandpa had to end up moving out of your parents house and sell it because you were struggling to keep up with it

You both ended up moving in with Grandpa's apartment which consisted of 3 rooms 2 bathrooms , a kitchen, a living room and Balcony

For the first 6 years you and Dayun shared rooms as you both were too traumatized to even sleep in your own room

Eventually you did move out of Dayuns room and had your own room after Graduating and Entering College while working as a waitress as you couldn't afford a university but you were find with that as the College you went to was known to be on the top 5 of Korea's best Colleges

You ended up Graduating early at the age of 22 because you finished all advanced study's that would have taken you at least 5-6 more years to complete thanks to taking the test that give you the free pass

You ended up still working as waitress and picked up Daycare and a Job at the Company of Inbae Kim

You worked as an assistant for his assistant ,assistant (a/n:I'm so sorry lmao)

Despite not getting payed much it was enough to help your Grandpa who did his best for you and Dayun

As for Dayun she was now 17 and in a high school

But something threw out Dayun after starting high school change she would come home with bruises and cuts

Despite trying to get her to tell you she wouldn't budge

So one day you took off work and followed her around school

You ended up finding out that Dayun was being Bullied by the daughter of the big boss at the company you worked at

And because of that nothing was ever fixed

You tried talking to the mother Mrs Kim but she ignored you and got into a physical fight with her which in results you broke her wrist and she almost sued you and got you fired if it weren't for her husband finding you valuable for the company

"Crazy Woman! You won't get away with this!" She said and oh well did it work

Because a week after that happened she forced her husband to cut your pay half for 3 months!

She would have asked longer if it weren't for her husband and son telling her she was going a bit too far

"But she broke my wrist! Crazy Woman could have killed me!" She would say eventually dropping it but everytime you would see her she would give you dirty looks or try and make you miserable

But you didn't fully mind after all it just shows what the true person she is

And the there is her husband Mr Kim whom no matter how hard you tried wouldn't listen or just say "girls will be girls it's normal" when it wasn't

He would try covering up what his daughter does by saying she would never or try to pay your silence with money and extravagant gifts which you all rejected as you rather cut your throat then to let them try to silence you when Dayun was suffering

Eventually Dayun herself asked you to stop when she came home bleeding from her leg and cheek forcing you to stop as in the end you were powerless they had money and power

And you didn't

It was truly hard but you wanted to keep moving forward for Dayun and Grandpa

You even went as far as to start trying to collect evidence from what Me Kim does that could get him arrested so you could blackmail him into finally listening

But you couldn't do it just yet you needed more time

In the meantime you kept working to collect more and help Dayun and Grandpa go through daily life

And now here we are

You were walking from work after dropping off some gift Mr Kim's assistant gave you to give to his son for his "good Grades"

In which return the damn brat's friends were being weirdos to you

But in the end it all passed so it's fine

You opened the door of your home to walk in on a crying grandpa and shock looking Dayun

"Grandpa?...... What's wrong?" You said as you placed down your purse and walked over to him

"Oh Y/n..." He said crying

"Grandpa are you ok? Please tell me what's wrong" you said as you held on to his shoulders checking if he was ok

"It's about your brother Y/n......." He said crying harder

He then said something you never expected to hear every again in your life
