Bf/n was in a really bad mood when he came home. He just sat that on the couch staring into his phone and not paying attention to you at all.
"Baby?"
No answer.
"Hey are you okay? How was your day?"
Still no answer.
"Babe what's wrong. You know you can always talk to me if there's something bugging you"
Once again no answer. He wouldn't tell you anything.
You resulted to plan B which was to poke him. You even tried holding his hand and kissing him on the cheek, but nothing worked at all. He had the same smug look as he scrolled through instagram.
You started to overthink. He was acting like you'd done something but he won't tell you what. You decided to pout at him to see what he'd do.
He lifted his head up to look at you for a split second, then went back to instagram.
"Why do you hate me? Have I upset you?"
No answer. No reaction.
You decided to back off. Maybe he doesn't realise he needs attention until it's gone.
"I'll leave you to it"
You went upstairs to your shared bedroom and put on *insert your favourite netflix show* on your television. Bf/n never tried to stop you.
You sank into the fluffy pillows you brought for some decoration and got comfy.
Deep down you really wanted Bf/n. He wasn't coming. You watched the time and it had been 30 minutes since your encounter with him.
You felt tears well in your eyes. This was such a stupid thing to cry over but you felt neglected like you did something wrong. The small tears wanted to turn into sobs so you just curled into a ball and let it out.
You sobbed your heart out for five minutes straight until you heard footsteps coming up the stairs. You prayed Bf/n would come into you. You wanted him.
The door opened and closed, then the mattress sank next to you and a pair of arms wrapped round you. You smiled to yourself and turned around to see his face full of guilt.
You wiped your eyes with your sleeve and leaned your head into the front of his shoulder.
"I'm sorry Y/n I'm just in a really bad mood. I've not had the best of days and I feel like shit. I didn't mean to take it out on you"
"It's okay I'm just glad I haven't upset you"
"No of course you haven't"
"Tell me what happened"
