"Thief! Who are you calling a thief, buddy?"

Villandra looked around her. There was about eight men on horseback, staring back at her. All of them had a helmet covering there faces, except one. He was absolutely the most gorgeous man she has ever met. You don't come across men like this in philly very often. Shit, now that she thought about it, you don't at all.

" What is your name, wench?"

" Villandra "

" We'll Villandra, would you be so kind as to tell me where you have come across that necklace ?"

Villandra reached up to cover her amulet and snorted at the man who seemed to be the leader.

"None of your business, you jerk."

The man dismounted and slowly started to circle her. Finally he stopped in front of her and slowly reached to remove her hand from the pendant.

" You speak strange words . Where is it that you come from?"

Villandra couldn't breathe, he was so close it caused a shiver down her back. She took a small step backwards out of fear. Fear of what, she did not know.
.
" I uh.. um.. Philadelphia"

" Philadelphia... I am afraid I haven't had the pleasure of knowing this place." He said confused.

Villandra snapped out of her trance. Just now realizing what was going on.

" Wait a minute. Where am I? Who are you?"

The man stared at her for a minute and then decided to ignore her questions. He reached out and lightly took hold of the amulet, staring at it.

" Well you see, Villandra of Philadelphia, I have seen this necklace before. It most definitely doesn't belong to you."

" First of all, who the hell are you? What gives you the right to accuse me of being a thief? "

The man let go of the amulet and stood straight as if he were struck by her words.

" I am Sebastian Drake, lord of Northampton and master of this keep. Also..." He pointed at the necklace. "... that belongs to my aunt, I am sure of it. My aunt has never let that out of her sight. How has it come into your possession?"

" My mother gave it to me."

" Then your mother is the thief."

" You mother ..." Villandra drew her fist back, ready to clock him right in the nose, when she heard a dozen swords hissing from their sheaths. She looked at Sebastian and he didn't even flinch, with a 'I dare you look' on his face.

He crossed his arms and smirked.

" You are a fiery wench, aren't you."

She lowered her fist and took a deep breath.

" Look, I don't know what I'm doing here. One minute I was in bed and the next I wake up in this field, talking to you. Can you please just tell me where I am at?"

He stared at her with that confused look again. " Surely you jest."

Villandra just blinked twice.

" Very well, we are at Northampton keep." He gestured towards the castle.

Villandra blinked twice again.

Sebastian rubbed his face and let out a deep breath. " It is a day's ride south of London."

"London, ..... England?" She asked, dumbfounded.

" You are not very smart are you? Yes, England." He said, looking at her as if she where crazy.

How could this be? She thought as she took another look at the men surrounding her. She was no expert but their armor seem really authentic looking. When she woke up, she thought she had some how wondered into some sort of reenactment. She didn't even know how she got there, maybe she slept walked or someone drugged her or something. Now that she had a chance to stop and think about it, why would someone drug her and bring her to a reenactment.

" What year is it?" She whispered with out realizing.

" This is the year of our lord, 1192."

Villandra started to hyperventilate and became dizzy. Her vision blurred and her legs gave out. She never hit the ground, she thought before she lost complete consciousness.

Sorry for the short chapter and for posting this chaper so late. I will try to make it up next chapter. Once again, I will ask for feedback. I know I'm not the best at grammar and such, so I am actually hopping for some negative feedback to help me out. How was the storyline so far? How can I make it better? Thanks for your help :-)
