As we headed back home

We all found our way back, seeking comfort  and healing in the embrace of our home.

In the middle of it all, I held Tuk, her shaking body a reflection of the fear "Tuk, we are safe now," I whispered, offering reassurance in the face of her anxiety.

My gaze shifted to Neteyam, hoping for a comforting glance, but his eyes avoided mine, filled with unspoken confusion. I then turned to Lo'ak, whose head hung low

In that moment, I understood that our return had not brought immediate comfort to all. We were a family but each of us carried our own silent struggles

As I walk past them, I glance back and announce, "I'm going to take her to her room."

As I walk away neteyam questions Lo'ak, saying, "Why did you bring them there?"

Looking up, Lo'ak responds, "We all went together."

Neteyam remarks, "You know they could have been seriously hurt, and the same goes for you and especially Tuk. What would we have done then?"

Lo'ak replies, "I'm sorry."

I step outside and call out, "Hey, guys, come here quickly!"

They gather around, leaning close to listen outside the tent, while Kiri tries to shush them.

I take a seat and observe Jake and Neytiri in an argument.

Neytiri firmly states, "You cannot ask that. I cannot abandon my people. I will not."

Jake responds, "He's hunting us, targeting our family, They have that kid spider and he knows everything We must leave."

With frustration, she raises her voice, exclaiming, "You can't expect me to consider this. The children, everything they've ever known—the forest—this is our home."

Laya's parents are buried here, and our dearest friends are buried here too," "We made a promise to take care of her."

I glance back at Lo'ak, who looks down, and then turn my head to face Neteyam, on the verge of tears.

Jake speaks up, his voice filled with pain. "They had our children. They held them captive, threatening their lives."

Neytiri looks at Jake her voice filled with determination. "As my father lay dying, he handed me this bow, saying, 'Protect our people.' You are our Toruk Makto."

Jake says " this will protect the people" do you understand"

He admits, "look I've got nothing". I don't have a plan."

"But what I can do is protect this family. That's something I'm capable of."

However, there's one thing I do know: wherever we go, this family is our fortress"

As I glance back at Kiri, I notice tears streaming down her face. I hug her tightly and whisper, "Perhaps we won't have to leave after all."

We simply hold each other, tears flowing freely, finding comfort in our hug .

Tuk comes back from her room, concerned. "What's the matter, Laya?" She asks.

I reply, trying to compose myself, "Oh, it's nothing. I'm just feeling a bit upset."

She walks closer and wraps her arms around me, offering comfort. I hug her tightly.

I rise to my feet and approach the boys, my eyes filled with a mix of emotions.

I walk towards Lo'ak and pull him in a hug. He holds me close, his hands resting gently on my waist as he looks into my eyes.

He speaks softly, "I'm sorry." I meet his gaze, curious, and ask, "Sorry for what?"
