"What is it?" Jacob asked."I'm not sure." Carlisle said. "Ultrasounds and needles won't penetrate the embryonic sac."
Bella sat back down. She hated how they talked, Alaina and Rosalie along with her.
"I can't see it, either." Alice said. "And I can't see Bella's future anymore."
"We are researching legends, but there isn't much to go on." Said Carlisle. "What we do know is that it's strong. And fast-growing."
"Why haven't you done anything?" Jacob moved up to Carlisle. "Take it out of her!"
"This is none of your business, dog." Rosalie got defensive.
"Rose!" Esme said. "All this fighting isn't good for Bella."
"The fetus isn't good for Bella." Said Alice.
"Say the word, Alice. 'Baby'. It's just a little baby." Rosalie said
"No." Jacob said. "Alaina's child is a baby."
"Possibly." Jasper told Rosalie.
"Carlisle," Jacob said, "you've gotta do something."
"'No." Bella stood her ground. "It's not his decision. It's not any of yours."
"Jacob, I need to talk to you." Edward said, walking out of the room. Jacob followed down.
Alaina knew what Edward was saying. He was trying to talk Jacob into talking some sense into Bella, like he tried getting Alaina to do. And even offered his life up to Jacob if Bella were to die.
Once Bella and Jacob began to talk, Rosalie walked over to Alaina.
"What do you think about it all?" Rosalie asked.
"Whatever Bella wants." Alaina said. "I'm here for support, not guidance."
It didn't take long for Jacob to storm out. He couldn't even get on his motorcycle, instead he kicked it over and jumped into his brown furred wolf and ran through the woods. The thoughts Jacob was thinking swarmed through Alaina's and the packs head like visions. Every important word he heard, then he followed.
Alaina's body gave a twitch. She didn't care about hers and Rosalie's conversation at that point, because her wolf clawed out. Alaina darted through the woods wearing white fur. She had howled with the others, and she ran down. The thoughts of the others rushed Alaina's ears, every last one screaming for Jacob.
They all piled close to the water where logs stayed. Every wolf swarming around, each asking questions.
"What will it be?" Said Quil.
"It's probably fat." Said Paul.
"It's unnatural." Said Leah.
"Dangerous." Said Jared.
"Monstrosity." Said Quil.
"An abomination." Paul added.
They went all different ways circling Jacob. The voices rushing through Alainas' head was all anger.
"On our land." Said Quil.
"We can't allow it." The wolves around said as one.
"We have to protect the tribe." Said Sam's voice. Sam stood the tallest form. He stood on the logs, above the rest. "What they've bred won't be able to control its thirst. Every human will be in danger."
"We're ready." Jared growled.
"No time to waste." Said Leah.
"Now?" Jacob asked.
