Before I could ask what she meant a projection shot up in the air hitting the dome roof of the maze. The projection read the name of a girl and proclaimed her dead, an image of a blonde curly haired girl flashed. Looking at the stranger on her knees I knew what she meant, small tears formed in her eyes.

"Please.. I didn't mean to," the strange girl begged.

Suddenly a button popped out on the wall, the words "challenge" engraved in the button. Like the human I am, I pressed it. A small wooden puzzle emerged from the green walls.

"Cool," I stated, putting pieces of the puzzle together as fast as I could. The girl who was on her knees quickly got up and grabbed the other puzzle on the opposite side to solve it. I finally got all the pieces and finished the cute little panda puzzle.

"Finished!" I boasted looking at my finished puzzle.

"How could you.. Why!" cried out the girl. The girl fell down and remained silent right before I was going to apologize. I walked over and poked her.

"Hey, are you alright? I'm sorry," I tried my best to apologize. Laying her down on the floor I saw blood flow out from her neck. So I decided to touch the collar on her neck. When I did, blood covered the palm of my hand.

"Oh my gosh," I whispered dramatically, flipping her body over as more blood spilled out.

"She's dead," explained a voice from the darkness. Out of shock and fear I backed away from the body and more into the corner.

"Come out! Or you'll end up like her," I choked, threatening this voice I pointed at the dead corpse.

"Jeez, didn't mean to theatren me," the mysterious voice said. Wait, I recognised that voice. A voice I haven't heard in so long.

"Eleanor?" I asked, starting to cry while whipping the blood on my hand onto the wall.

"Yep," she chuckled, stepping out of the shadows. Her appearance was more beat-up than before but I didn't care. I swung my arms over my sister, trapping her in a hug.

"I missed you!," I complained, crying.

"I'm here now, okay?" Eleanor whispered, her tears falling onto the collar around my throat.

"I'm not leaving okay?" she cracked. "We're never going to be separated again, okay?"

"Okay." Before I could say anything else, the same challenge button popped out of the wall. Neither of us dared to touch it, but then a vine with a large flower swung and pressed the button for us.

"No!" Eleanor and I shrieked in sync. A cross word popped up on the wall alone with a pencil and eraser on either side. Holding onto Esther's hand, we both refused to touch the wall or even stand the puzzle. The carving on the walls dinged to "do not test us, solve."

Still refusing to start or finish the puzzle, there was one last warning on the wall, "You will both die." Staring at the messages we both said our goodbyes.

"Love you to death sis!" I stated, tears falling down like rain from my eyes.

"Love you to bro," she replied. I felt a sharp poke to my neck, before the world went dark.
