timothee spots odessa on a friend's instagram post and immediately falls for her.

at first; a week would go by. timothee's texts got shorter and shorter and less frequent until finally; a month had gone by.
then two months; then before odessa had realized that they hadn't seen each other in 6 months and she got a text a week from him if she was lucky.
she was dating a wall, sure he was busy but so was she. after almost 8 months of them having little to no contact; odessa decided that she couldn't take it anymore.
she decided that she would call timothee, she texted him two days prior to ask him if he could call so they could talk about their relationship. he took his sweet time responding before he finally called her days later.
"hey tim" she said shyly into the phone. she was speaking to someone that she was in love with but it felt like she was on the line with a stranger.
"hey des" timothee responded, she could hear a slight smile in his voice.
on both ends of the phone; there was an awkward and suffocating silence. timothee finally broke the white noise "um... are you still my girlfriend?" he asked.
odessa felt a lump grow in her throat, she called him to officially break up with him but she wasn't ready to admit that they were over "i don't think so" her voice cracked.
timothee was silent for a moment "im sorry" he whispered, audibly; he was in tears now.
odessa joined him "don't be" she shook her head even though he couldn't see her.
"i love you so much" he sniffled "i know i've abandoned you these last couple months but i still love you" he assured her.
she wiped her tears but they quickly came back "i love you too t, i'll see you around".
"goodbye des" he replied before hanging up.
