Suddenly, I felt someone's eyes on me, so I turned around. I immediately recognized the red hair and the face I had seen a few hours earlier. I sensed she wasn't going to come in, so I took the initiative.

-I'll be right back- I said to Richy, who was still staring at the TV, then I headed for the door.

I walked down the hall, and she immediately got up and started walking towards me.

-Polly, it's good to see you - she wrapped me in a tight hug. -But why didn't you tell us anything?
-I didn't think you'd like to meet me. -What are you talking about? Of course, we'd like to meet you.- She pulled me away and looked at my face for a moment.- That's exactly how I imagined you.
There was a moment of silence after her statement, which I decided to break. -Aren't you going to visit him?- I nodded towards the door.
-I wanted to, but I don't know if I'm ready for it.
- If you decide, I can accompany you.

Apparently, Jessy liked my request, because she agreed to visit him. Richy was also very pleased with this fact, because he immediately beamed and started a conversation. I didn't know if it would change anything between them, but deep down I hoped it would.
It was getting late, so we decided to head back. We went downstairs, and I peeked into Hannah's room again, but Thomas was still sitting next to her.

-You don't want to come in?- The redhead interrupted my thoughts.
-I can't, Jessy- I replied-she still doesn't know anything about Jake.

The girl didn't want to pursue the topic further, so we went to the exit. My plans changed once again because Jessy offered me a place to stay. I couldn't refuse her. I knew the company would be good for both of us, and it would be definitely better than a motel.
