AN- This is my first story so its kinda mid, but I've got a few ideas in mind to complete this story. Also lemme know who's your fav character in obx, I'm literally obsessed with jj but I really wanted to make an endgame with JB since I literally cannot find any. Liv Maybank - JJ's younger sister, likes to get things her way, kind to everyone (almost), loves partying till the sun comes up. She's 16, a year younger than JJ and hated it when people treat to her as some 8 year old. She has had a tough life but she wouldn't talk to anyone about it since "it makes her look weak". Everyday, she used to put a smile on her face and pretend like she had the most perfect life ever, even though she did cry most nights. She had some secrets, bad ones but she was the new mystery in town and she liked it that way.
JJ Maybank - Liv's older brother, JJ Maybank, he's about as local as they come. Latest in a long line of fishing, drinking, vandetta-holding salf-lifers who made their living off the water. He's the best surfer I know just don't tell him I said that. Mild kleptomaniac and future tax cheat. He wasn't the type to stay with one girl at a time, who am I kidding, he never even really liked someone.
Kiara Carrera - Or kie as the group called her, when she's not saving baby turtles, getting a dolphin tattoo or listening to marley, she hangs out with the Pogues. She's a rich kid actually so I'm not quite sure why she hangs out with guys from the cut.
Pope Heyward - God, he's the smartest person I know, finalist for the Lucas T. Vanderhorst Merit Scholarship. He's a little bit of a weirdo but the pogues love him. His father's this legandary character Heyward. Anything you wanted on the island, he could get it for you.
John B Routledge - Not gonna lie, Jb (he hates that nickname) was really good looking with this dark messy hair and sharp features. He was like the leader of the Pogues. He lived on an old fish shack on the marsh, The Châtaeu, as his dad, Big John used to call it, unfortunately his dad disappeared at sea nine months ago, looking for a shipwreck. Everyone said that Big John was dead but John B wouldn't give up unless he saw a body, he still believed his dad was out there somewhere. His mother left when he was 3 and pretty much everyone in the crew crashes at his place since JJ claims that he loves Jb and couldn't stay a minute away from him, Kie's parents don't get her and trust me when I say this Pope would literally cry if his dad lectured him about his scholarship ONE more time.
Maybank family back story - Luke Maybank and Avery Maybank had JJ when Ms Maybank was 18 and Liv when she was 19. They fell in love, building a family together but after 4 years of their marriage, Ms Maybank decided it was too much for her, packed her bags overnight, took Liv and ran away, far away, where no one would find her. JJ hated her, but he hated someone else just a little bit more, Liv because thats who their mother choose, she left JJ behind like he was nothing.
They moved to New York, her mom loved Liv more than anything but after a few years of being just them, she married Charles, this really nice guy who had a step son who was about JJ's age, Mark. Liv and Mark got along pretty well, she had always wanted an older brother. After a couple weeks of Charles and Avery's marriage, Charles started drinking and coming home late, he even hit Liv's mom once. Since then Liv was sent to her room before 7 but she used to always sneak out to party and hang out with her friends. After a year, when live turned 14, she found out about her mom's suicide. Since her stepdad couldn't hit her mom anyone, he started beating Liv, it wasn't everyday or most of the days, only when he was in a bad mood, usually just once or twice a week. After she felt like she couldn't take it anymore, she ran away hoping to find her real dad and brother in Outerbanks.
