"Twelve? Twelve trapped in two times and dimensions? What do you mean, that's impossible."
"Speak more politely, Erica!"
"I'm just asking, Lucas!"
"Huh, whatever."
If the night is used for sleeping, not with the eleven of them. Even though it was almost midnight, they were still engrossed in discussing Nancy's opinion this afternoon.
"This is what I mean."
Nancy took a large piece of paper and spread it in the middle of the table making everyone gather there.
Nancy drew a straight line in the middle with two stick human on top, and one upside down stick human below.
"If you look here, this line is the boundary of the world." "Above it, is the original world, our world." "Meanwhile, below, everything is the same as our world, it's just that it's gloomy there. Upside Down."
"Upside Down...where are creatures like Vecna, Dermogorgon, and Mind Flayer?" Twelve asked who still didn't understand. Nancy nodded.
"I'm sure you all know a lot about the Upside Down, but I'm not going to explain this."
Nancy turned the large paper over to the blank side. Again, she drew a straight line in the middle with one stick human on top and one stick human that was not turned upside down below.
"If a few years earlier on the Upside Down your body would have moved there, I don't think this one will."
Nancy's genius explanation made everyone frown. "You mean.. like a mind battle?" Jonathan said.
