"hey baby, do you wanna take this love language quiz, I saw it and I thought we could do it," you called out to JJ. He was across the room on the sofa doing absolutely nothing. You had been looking for buzzfeed quizzes for the two of you to do and you found this one.
"sure, I'll know exactly how to show you just how much I love you. Let's give it a go," JJ said, grinning at you from across the room. He practically bounced off the sofa to cuddle up next to you and do the quiz. He put his arm around you and you press on the link.
"okay, first question: 'do you appreciate a gift more or a hug?'" he said. You are already stopping him.
"wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Who's doing the quiz first?" you asked. You could only do one person's quiz at a time, so you didn't want to interrupt if he wanted to go first.
"you go first, I'll do it after," he said. It was just easier that way because he knew you would take forever choosing what answer to pick.
*ten minutes later*
just like he said, you were taking forever. It was a ten question quiz. It felt like it had already been an hour for JJ and you were only on question five.
"baby, are you nearly done?" he said. You had taken a while, but you didn't want to choose the wrong thing incase it wasn't right.
"I'm nearly done, I'm sorry. I just don't know what to decide," you stuttered. You thought he sounded frustrated, like he was really annoyed at you for taking so long.
"It's fine. I was just wondering," he said, "really. take as much time as you need my love," he smiled down at you.
A couple of minutes later, and you had finally finished the quiz.It was JJ's turn now, so you handed him the phone. A minute later, he was already done. You didn't know how he did it, but he did.
"So, what did you get," you asked him, "and also, how did you do that so quickly?"
"I just did baby," he said, kissisng you, "and I got physical touch. What did you get?"
"I got physical touch too," you beamed up at him. As soon as you said that, he hugged you even tighter, like he was never going to let go.
You two sat like that for hours. You eventually fell asleep, but Jj couldn't help but gaze down at you. You looked so peacful when you were sleeping.
