Percy's pov
"Are you okay Nico?" I asked. He was just crying on the sidewalk; I didn't know why.

"I-it's Thing... he's-he's passed on!" Nico sobbed. I didn't know how to comfort him.

"Oh uh... just come back to camper and we can find a place to eat and help cheer  you up," I said.

"B-but what do we do about Thing??" he asked.

"We'll figure it out," I promised. "Just bring him with us for now."

"Okay..." Nico said.

We walked back to the camper. Grover ran up to us. "GUESS WHAT!" he yelled.

"What?" I asked.

"WE'RE GONNA EAT AT THE RAINFOREST CAFÉ!!!" he screamed. The Rainforest Café was one of his favorite places to eat.

"Oooo!" I replied. Annabeth came out wearing men clothes. I snickered. She glared at me and walked away. I went to get ready.

A few minutes later everyone was ready. We stepped out of the camper and into The Rainforest Café.

                                                                                                           ***

We sat down at a table. The waiter came over and said his name was Jimmy. He seemed nice. He walked away to give us some time to look at the menu.

Nico looked up at me. "Can I get a beer, Percy?"

I was about to say yes before Annabeth looked at Nico and said, "No, Nico. No."

Nico slumped over, disappointed.

Jimmy came back over. "What can I get y'all to drink?" he asked.

I looked at Grover to go first. "Uh... I'd like the Key Wester smoothie thing," he said, smiling politely.

Jimmy nodded at me.

"Uhm..what color is the Swimming Hole smoothie thing?" I asked Jimmy.

"Blue," Jimmy replied.

"I'll take two," I said excitedly. Annabeth gave me a '😑' face.

Jimmy looked at Annabeth.

"I'd like a Coca Cola please," she ordered.

"And for you, little man?" Jimmy looked at Nico.

"I'd like a Chocolate Milk," he said happily.

"Sorry, we don't have that," Jimmy apologized.

"Oh...Caprisuns?" Nico asked hopefully.

"Coming right up!" said Jimmy. Then he walked away.

Annabeth's pov
As soon as the waiter walked off, Nico and Percy started acting like idiots. I looked over and Percy had a spoon stuck to his nose. Oh, how I hated taking him out in public. It was made worse by the fact that he looked like me, so it looked like I was the fool with the spoon on her nose! Nico was reading the menu while doing an impression of Kermit the frog. I prayed to the gods for Jimmy to come back. At least Grover was acting like a civilized human being, despite not actually being one.

The waiter came back with the drinks and a notepad. He set the drinks down. He then stood up straight and pulled out a pen.

"Are y'all ready to order?" he asked.

"Yep" I replied. The waiter looked at me to go first. "I'd like the Shrimp Tacos, please." I told him. Ever since I had become Percy, I had wanted seafood. It was really stupid.

"Okay.." The waiter turned towards Percy. "And for you?" he asked.

"I'd like the Blue Mountain Chicken Sandwich, dude," Percy said. He made it seem like I was the one saying "dude". How embarrassing.

"Mk! And for you?" The waiter looked at Grover.

"I'd like the Anaconda Pasta, please," Grover ordered happily.

Nico looked up from applying his eyeliner. "I want the Iggy's Piggy Sandwich," he said in his deep emo voice.

Jimmy finished writing our stuff down. "It'll be out shortly!" he told us, and left the table.

Percy's  pov
I watched as Jimmy walked off. I decided I wanted to sit next to Annabeth, so I shoved Grover into the seat I was in and stole his spot. Annabeth just rolled my eyes and said "Hi, Seaweed Brain."

Jimmy came back with the food. "Enjoy!" He yelled.

I noticed my Blue Mountain Chicken Sandwich was NOT blue. I was so sad.

"...What is this?" I asked Jimmy.

"That is your Blue Mountain Chicken Sandwich, of course!"

"But—but it's not blue!" I exclaimed.

Jimmy stared at me like I was crazy. He gave Annabeth, Grover, and Nico their food, but all I could think about was this non-blue Blue Mountain Chicken Sandwich.

Jimmy walked off.

I just stared at my food.

Annabeth looked over. "What's wrong?" she asked me.

I told her. "My Blue Mountain Chicken Sandwich is NOT blue!"

"Stop being such a baby, Seaweed Brain," she teased.

Annabeth's pov
I wanted out of this place. Percy was driving me crazy with his complaining, Nico was still doing his Kermit The Frog impression, and Grover was just eating happily.

The food was pretty good. I didn't use to like sea food, but I guess being Percy changed that. I also had the weird urge to steal Percy's blue smoothie. I ignored that. Percy's Blue Mountain Chicken Sandwich looked really good, but I didn't dare say I wanted it.

I looked over at Percy. He'd somehow managed to get a fork stuck in his (my) hair.

We finished eating and the waiter came over to take our plates.

"How was everything?" Jimmy asked.

"It was good!" We all yelled, except for Nico, who said, "It sucked."

"I'm sorry to hear that! Would you like any dessert?"

Grover quickly answered. "YES! We want a Sparkling Volcano."

"Comin' right up!"

I felt Nico's eyes on me. What a creep.

"Hey," he said. "You gonna eat that?" He pointed to a singular piece of shrimp on my plate.

"Uhm..no?-" I replied.

"Good." He quickly threw his arms out and took the shrimp and ate it.

Jimmy came back with the cake. It was massive and had a firework on it.

Percy gasped and leaned over the table at it. I hit his arm to make him stop. He was really starting to humiliate me.

We ate the cake in five minutes. Grover kept pointing at all the animal animatronics and making up backstory's for them.

"You see those two elephants over there?" he said. "Their names are Susan and Billy and they're in love!"

Jimmy came over. "Your food will be $124.01."

"That's outrageous!!!" Nico yelled, handing over a one thousand dollar bill.

We paid and started to leave.

"RACE YA TO THE CAR!" Percy shouted and sprinted away. I rolled my eyes and followed.
