Once they had finished their food, Oakley started to drive them back to his apartment. A place Isabella hasn't seen since he moved in, a year and a bit ago. She was kind of intrigued to see what his place looked like now. Yet again his hand returned to her thigh, rubbing his thumb back and forward.

Once he had been buzzed into the parking lot of the apartment building, the sun was slowly setting. He parked the car and Izzy turned off the music. Oakley got out of the car and met Isabella's side of the car, opening the door for her.

"I'll get your bag." he smiled, Isabella told it was fine and she'll carry it but he insisted. After locking the car the two made their way through the lobby of the building and towards the elevator.

"I still hate these things." Izzy breathes out. Oakley looks at her hands which were shaking ever so slightly as they stepped inside. He snaked a hand around her waist clutching her to his side.

"You'll be fine Iz," he reassured. She nodded, gulping as he clicked a button on the wall. The elevator was in full swing now as it started to move up. Oakley couldn't keep his eye's off Izzy, constantly checking she wasn't too scared. Ever since he'd known her, she'd shared some pretty irrational fears, which mainly he understood some, even related to them. But he guessed he can't wrap his head around it because he takes that elevator nearly every single day.

They made it to his front door, he fiddled with the keys before unlocking it, and he held the door open for Izzy. A smile tugged at her lips, seeing how clean he had kept it. The only difference was various artworks had been swapped out in the living room and the kitchen now had marble, glazed-over counters. She was yet to see other rooms, such as Oakley's room, bathroom and the guest room, which last time she was here she had claimed as her own.

"I'm barely here now. I miss the place sometimes... Yanno?" he sighed putting Isabella's bags on the kitchen counter before locking his apartment door.

"You deserve a break Oaks." she frowned turning to face him. He walked up to her, their faces just moments apart.

"Mm." he hummed. She looked up at him.

"I'm serious Oakley," she said. He tucked a loose strand of hair behind Isabella's ear.

"And I swear. I'll take one soon love." his voice just above a whisper. She nodded her head as they shared a lengthy embrace.

"Now, where's my room." she smiled pulling back, trying to enlighten the mood a bit. He chuckled as he collected her bags and led her down the corridor. Of course, she already knew where the guest room was but it felt better to ask rather than just going there. He pushed the guest bedroom's door open. The sheets were a nice light grey colour and the big ceiling-to-floor windows had fitting white curtains to pull it all together. Isabella soon realised how dark it had got outside.

"It's getting late." he sighed, placing her belongings on the double bed. Izzy nodded her head, she made her way to the windows and watched as the cars drove past and the lights filled the streets. She felt hands creep around her waist, Oakley rested his head in the nook of her neck.

"You tired?" he asked, softly. She shook her head, yet her body betrayed her by letting out a yawn.

"Mhm sure your not. Get to bed come on," he smirked, spinning her around gently to face him.

"No, I'm not tired," she grunted as he dragged her towards the bed.

"I'll still be here in the morning, we've got plenty of time to sit and watch the cars pass by. But for now, go to bed," he whispered, moving her bags to the floor, and placing them beside the table. She shook her head.

"I'm not even changed!" she protested. He rolled his eyes and passed her the bag.

"Go get changed, I'll be here," he smirked, he would be lying if he didn't watch the way her ass moved as she walked away from him and towards the bathroom in the hallway. No matter how much Oakley wanted to deny it. He was falling deeper and deeper in love with the girl. That was the real reason he didn't check up on her, so many rebounds yet he couldn't fill the hole in his heart that ached for her. All of them girls meant nothing to him, merely a distraction.

Finally, the two had agreed that Isabella would go straight to sleep if they could watch Netflix first. They both sat on the couch. As time went on and the film progressed Izzy managed to fall asleep in Oakley's lap. He wouldn't even of noticed if it wasn't for the light snores escaping her body. The film might as well of be shut off as he was too focused on the peacefulness surrounding the two, as of right now, nothing mattered. That was always the vibe she had created, she made him forget about the stress of realising new music, and she made him not want to go out and drink. She hadn't even been in his presence for a full day, yet she had managed to make it feel like she'd never left. She stirred in his lap, he admired the pure natural beauty of the girl, all of her makeup now had been wiped off. He combed his fingers gently through her hair, trying not to wake her up. Knowing he had no plans tomorrow and seeing Isabella again, his life, momentarily, felt perfectly fine.

Morning rolled around and Isabella was the first to wake, due to the sun shining through the windows of the apartment and onto her face. She stirred awake, till she had finally realised her head was laid within Oakley's lap, his hand resting gently upon her head. She could see his chest rise and fall to a rhythm. She readjusted herself, waking up Oakley, who is by far not a morning person at all. He groaned as Izzy sat up rubbing her eyes. He pulled her back in, on top of his lap.

"Uh-" her breath hitched in the back of her throat.

"Hmh?" he grunted. She shook her head, being too sleepy to care. Oakley's hands were wrapped around her waist, Izzy's legs on either side of him and her head buried in his neck. Pure bliss. If anyone saw this, you wouldn't think they were just "friends" as they like to call it. But the both of them have been falling for each other for a long time, it was painfully obvious.

And so the day had begun, the two starting it off with sleeping in.
