"𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦."
She pulled up at her old friends house, honking the horn. There he was confused but happy look on his face as he approached her car, opening the door for her.
"Isabella! What do I owe the pleasure?" He joked.
"I know it's been awhile Dave, but I need a place to crash." She frowned looking at the floor. A wide smile crossed his face as he pulled her into a hug.
"You know you don't have to ask, what's up like?" He asked, pulling back from the hug.
"Me and Oakley have fallen out." Izzy replied, walking to the boot of her car picking up her suitcase.
"Cench? Wait what I heard you and him where like tight." He asked helping her wheel the suitcase inside his house, she locked the car as they entered his home. It was fairly big but it didn't need any more room as it was only him that ever stayed there the occasional friends would crash there but that was it.
"We were, still are? Maybe... I don't even know truthfully I just need to get away. You cant tell him I'm here though, he'll only come get me or sumit." She frowned. Dave thought about it, knowing he'd have to tell Oakley eventually as he knew that he liked this girl and would look for her.
"Did you leave a note or a text or anything?" He asked. She shook her head. Now he knew he'd look for her. Dave knew Oakley would assume the worst that someone had took her or something, he'd ask everyone and eventually he'd come to Dave.
"You should of, you'll probably worry him." He explained, she nodded.
"Yeah probably, but you don't understand Dave, I think I really like him." She sighed dropping on the couch.
"So you decided you liked him so much you walked out?" He chuckled a bit before sitting on the couch opposite her.
"No, that's not why. He said... we'll just read this." She passed him her phone, on the screen was her and Oakley's messages. Dave read through them. Oakley had said stuff like "I'm sick of u" "Ur just a liar man" and various other things. It was clear he was upset because everyone knew at this point he really loved this girl, he never shuts up about her so he obviously didn't mean it.
"You relapsed?" Dave titled his head up from the phone.
"Harrison's party." She was quick to answer, her head in her hands and eyes fixated on the floor.
"Ah. Makes sense." He huffed out. He slid the phone across the table back to her, she locked it and slid it in her pocket.
"He hates me doesn't he?" Izzy frowned.
"No, he's just upset he doesn't mean it." Dave reassured. She did nothing but nod.
"Do you have a place I can sleep?" She asked.
