Adopted (Dc x avengers crossover book one)

Chapter two

"Hey! Jason?! What happened?!" he asked many times but Jason couldn't answer because he was dragged out of his consciousness. Clint didn't know what to do so he picked up Jason and the first thing on his mind to bring him with him was the Avengers tower. The other avengers would have to ask questions later while they patch him up first.

It was a long walk to the avengers tower but he managed to get there. Jason felt lighter than usual, he was pale, and his breathing was uneven. He had cold sweat on his head too. "Don't worry Jason. You're in good hands now. Whoever did this to you will pay!" Clint said to the unconscious Jason. He entered the building and made his way up to the infirmary.

He went up one more floor and started to make his way to the infirmary. Jason shifted himself so that his head was in Clints' chest. Clint made it to the infirmary and gently, carefully put Jason on the table and took off his jacket and underneath his jacket was a red t-shirt. Clints' eyes were drawn to the long burn mark on Jasons' left arm and there were tiny black dots there too.

He looked at it closely and quickly realized that there were tiny parasites on his burn mark. Before he could move to get them out he heard the door open and he spun around to meet face to face with the rest of the avengers. He gave a nervous chuckle, "Clint, what is going on? Why is there a kid in the infirmary?" Natasha asked firmly. Goodness this woman makes me nervous! He thought.

"This kid is my friend. I fought alongside him on a mission and we talked for a while till he texted me to come to where we first met and I did but he was all beaten up when I saw him." Clint explained. Bruce stepped up and walked over to Jason and examined him, he accidentally touched Jasons' burned arm causing him to whimper in pain. Bruce looked at his arm and also saw those little tiny black dots on his burn mark, "Are these little black marks parasites by any chance?" he asked aloud. Everyone looked at the unconscious Jason and Clint just nodded, "Could anyone get me a tweezer so I can take the parasites out, please?" he asked politely. Tony grabbed a tweezer and handed it to Bruce. He was about to pluck the first one when he paused and looked up at the rest of the avengers, "Some of you might want to pin his arms and legs down so he doesn't punch me or kick me in the face," he said.

Natasha and Steve grabbed his legs, and Clint grabbed his other arm. Bruce started to take the first parasite off and started to pull. Jason yelped and tried to move his eyes squeezed shut, while Bruce got the first one off and three more to go. Bruce made his move to the second one while Jason yelped and groaned from the pain.

After all the parasites were pulled out, Bruce wrapped his burn mark with bandages. Jasons' face was stained from tears, but he had sweat from his head and he was feeling very hot. Natasha grabbed a cold wet cloth and placed it on Jason's forehead, "He has a fever it looks like." Natasha said in her usual know it all voice.

"We should probably leave him so he can rest and inform Fury about this." Steve said and the rest made their way out of the infirmary. No one said anything for a while, "So, Clint, who were you fighting when you guys met?" Steve asked, "We were fighting someone called Riddler and now he is dead from my arrow." Clint answered, "What's his name?" Natasha asked, "His name is Jason. Never told me his last name but his hero name is Red Hood." he answered again.

"His hero name got me familiar and I did some research and I did get something about Red Hood and he made crime alley murders and other stuff go down at least 33%." he continued. "My research said that he is a skilled fighter, and never to be messed with because he has a perfect aim for guns and throwing things. He is also very skilled with hand to hand combat." Natasha said. They were silent for the rest of the way to their destination (I don't know where they meet Fury so if you know comment please!)

Once they got to their destination they sat down in their chairs while Fury was standing in front of them waiting for someone to explain what was going on. "Fury, you are probably wondering why you are here." Tony started, Fury nodded his head, "We wanted you to inform you about a kid that is what nineteen or eighteen?" Bruce asked, turning to Clint, "I believe he is nineteen?" Clint answered unaware if he is right or not.

"So basically the kid is Red Hood and he is severely injured and I was wondering, when he is all healed up he could join the avengers and help us out with missions?" Natasha asked, Fury turned his gaze onto her and narrowed his eyes at her. He was about to say something when the alarms went off, "Stark, what is going on?!" Fury demanded. "JARVIS, what is going on?" Stark asked loudly.

"My systems have been breached," JARVIS replied. "Clint, Go check on the boy!" Steve said, and of course Clint was already making his way to the infirmary and when he got there Jason was gone. Clint checked around the room, and heard a scream from another room. Of course Clint was going to follow that scream, when he got there Jason was fighting the avengers and he was winning, the other avengers tried to tell him that they meant no harm.

Like he will listen to that. Welp Bruce could've gone Hulk mode and pin him down so things can be easier! Clint thought firmly, he was just standing there in the shadows and eyeing Jason's moves and they were quick and hard. He wanted to fight this kid very much, but he had to calm him down first, he must've freaked out when he was in the infirmary and thought that the rest of the avengers were enemies.

Hulk finally came out and Jason put up a fight against him but he was soon picked up by the Hulk and was struggling to get free and that's when he decided to make his entrance. "Hey, Kid, we just want to help, we are not doing any harm to you, we promise." Steve reassured but Jason was still struggling in Hulk's grasp, "Yeah, just lie about that but once I get out of this guys grasp my bullets will be in your head!" Jason threatened .

Yay another chapter down and who knows how much left. Maybe over 10 hopefully or maybe more I will just have to wait and see how far this goes
