"So, what'd you do over the weekend?" I ask looking up at Gwen, she smiles down at me as she pins something to the school's post board. I lean against the wall below her, my legs crossed.

"Nothing special. You?" She says distractedly.

I blow a raspberry, "Robbed a bank."

She smiles and rolls her eyes, "Yeah. Sure." She says sarcastically, I raise my arms as I get up.

"What? Don't believe I can be a toughened criminal? Oh, you wound me." I press a hand to my heart and exit the school with her.

"Oh, for sure, you'd be the toughest out there, MJ. Have everyone shaking in their boots." She says a hint of sarcasm to her tone.

I grin and cross my arms, "I know, right? I'm just so terrifying." She laughs and nods, hopping up onto the table. She pulls her backpack into her lap.

"You got any snacks?" I mumble questioningly and flip the top open with a finger as I peer inside. She smacks my head; I yelp and jump away from her. "What was that for?"

She shakes her head as she grabs a book. "Didn't your moms ever teach you not to look in a ladies purse."

I stare at her and shake my head, my mouth open slightly, "Nah, cause I'm a woman. Now give." I snatch her bag and rustle through it, grabbing out a baggie of goldfish.

She playfully glares at me as she opens her book. Holding it up to her face with one hand, the other behind her holding her up.

"Eat it. Eat it." I look behind us as a crowd grows by a table.

"Oh, great, it's your boyfriend." I spew the last word like it was poison.

"He's not my boyfriend." She tries to defend with, I roll my eyes.

"Oh, sure, sure." I take a step forward to help the poor kid from Flash's lower IQ and heightened violence he seemed to try to consistently exude over younger classmen, the fucking prick.

Gwen grabs my arm and shakes her head disagreeingly, "Don't, you're just gonna get the same thing he's getting."

I cock an eyebrow, "So? At least it's not some Freshman."

She sighs and shakes her head. "Just, don't. Okay? It won't help anything."

I frown and look back, my eyes catching shiny honey brown just as they look away from me almost as if they weren't just staring. I watch as said stalker walks over to the crowd of students.

"Hey Parker! Come on, get a picture of this!" I hear Flash shout, just full of amusement. I sigh and pull my arm from Gwen's hand and walk over to the crowd. I stand and peer over the shoulders of the growing crowd of students just as Peter Parker, a very quiet kid, makes his way to the two.

"No, I'm not gonna take a picture of it. Put him down man." He looks to the kid, "Gordon, don't— don't eat it."

"Take the picture, Parker." Flash snarks out,

Peter raises his arm gesturing down, "Put him down Flash." He repeats.

"Take. The. Picture." Flash spits out glaring at him, he shakes his head giving him a pursed lip smile.

"Put him down, Eugene." His tone inflected at the use of 'Eugene', using the imbecile's real name was definitely something, if the look in Flash's eyes was anything to go by.
