Life is something that everyone owns at least once in their life. On this part, it is fair to everyone. Everyone has a chance at living a good life before dying peacefully. Everyone has a chance, but not everyone is granted this calm life of happiness and joy. It is the only fair part of life, everyone has a chance to experience what it is to be alive and to say that they are the owner of such a thing called 'life'. After that, good luck, because it's not everyone that is lucky enough to live a good life. A good life where happiness is more frequent than despair, sadness, misfortune, and such. Life is like a lottery, either you win, or you lose. If you lose, you still can live a good life not too extravagant, or you live surrounded by misfortune and full of misery that only seems to grow more woeful over time. It is truly unfair, but it's not like humans have a way to put an end to this. Mortals don't have the power to end the never-ending cycle of misery and unfairness. But, some also find strength in their misfortunes, growing stronger every time and never losing hope. The proof that living in misfortune can also be the reason for someone's growth and that in a way, everyone has the power to change their life into a better life, even if it is only for a little while or enough to only change things a little bit for eternity. It will always feel good to have a weight off our shoulders, even if there are thousands of hundreds of tons left. But in reality, what is a good life? What is the perfect life for someone to live? Nobody really knows. Humans always chase and run after what is impossible for them to have, so they will always be disappointed in something. As ungrateful or illogical as it may sound. For someone that dreams to be rich and live a life of laziness and luxury, a life where they have to work hard and go through the hardship of life is beyond miserable. But for someone that dreams to simply live life as it is without any sort of useless needs, a life filled with money is also beyond miserable. People grow envious of their neighbors, wishing to have what they have, failing to see that even if it's not exactly what they wished for, their life can also be great. Humans have the power to change their life so it can become better and yet, they prefer to whine and spend time wishing for things that they don't have. How ridiculous humans look sometimes. How blind can humankind be? No one has the precise answer, but many would say, a lot, like many, would say, not at all. The truth, we will never know it, unfortunately. Or fortunately, it depends on who is answering this question.
Life is something so complex. Life is something so simple. Life is what it is. Simple or complex, it depends on which eyes are looking at it. But usually, the more someone understands their purposes in life, and more they will find life complex and complicated while the ones that look at life as nothing else than what it mainly is, can view it simply and avoid all the headaches and internal turmoils that comes with viewing this thing called life so unnecessarily complicated. What is so complex about life anyway? You live a few decades to die and get buried six feet under. Isn't it what it is, to live? Isn't it a ridiculous cycle that everyone has to follow? To live to die after? How ridiculous can this get? It must have been someone up there, getting bored, and this superior being decided to create life simply to entertain itself and oops, it all went wrong. Or did it go well? Who knows.
For Satoru Gojo, he wouldn't deny that many times, he had wished to live another life. Live a simple and calm life, where he ignored the existence of exorcists, curses, and such. It could be so exhausting sometimes to shoulder all this power that no living being should be allowed to have and all this knowledge that no eighteen years old young adult should have. As the strongest, sometimes it could become exhaustingly painful and lonely to simply live another day. But he learned how to handle it and live with it. Being the strongest was a curse and a blessing at the same time.
But at the moment, Satoru just couldn't help but think to himself how he had the best life out of everyone in the world. Cuddling in the soft and gentle arms of his girlfriend who tenderly caressed her smooth hand through his shinning white strands of hair while the both of them rested on the small grass hill of a park, the only thing giving them light being the lampost a few meters down from the couple who simply enjoyed the calmness of the night, the faint sound of insects and the wind filling the calm silence. This only moment simply made his life the best. Even more when he could catch the faint smell of her sweet fragrance through his nose, the faint smell being enough to stretch his smooth lips into a smile.
"Satoru?" Her soft voice echoed in Gojo's ears who immediately hummed in answer to the girl who held him tenderly in her arms. Her fingers that went through his hair shifted to his cold and smooth cheeks, brushing gently the surface of his cheeks, making her boyfriend's smile widen in comfort. She pondered a few seconds over her question, wondering about the future answer Gojo would give her.
"In the future, would you like to be a father?" She asked, her voice soft and light as she stared at the starless sky above her, not minding how boring the sky had become now that the light of the city covered all of the small white lights of the space. Satoru hummed in surprise at the sudden question and lifted his head slightly to look at the delicate face of his girlfriend through his round and dark shades that covered his eyes almost all of the time. He certainly did not expect a question of that kind. He hummed in wonder before settling on an answer.
"We're too young to think about that, aren't we?" Chuckled the white-haired sorcerer, still staring at his girlfriend who was now looking back at him, a faint smile on her lips as she kept brushing her fingers against the smooth skin of her boyfriend's face. Her smile widened after a few seconds of peaceful silence as she answered her boyfriend.
"You're right."
"When am I not right?" At that answer, the girl slightly pinched the smooth skin of Satoru's left cheek, getting a small whine from the boy as he caressed his cheeks in slight pain.
"Shut up."

Hello everyone! I'm back after almost a month. Sorry for taking so long🧎. But for now, I have chapter 1 and 2 already written and I'll try to have always at least one chapter already ready. I will do weekly update for now! 🕺🏼
With 'my father' I wanted to do something different from 'my son' but I also wanted to keep the same structure as 'my son' because I really liked the way I organized 'my son'. If you don't understand, you will get what I mean by chapter two. The first book was more focused on Leoni and this book will be more focused on Satoru and the mother of Leoni.
The prologue was short, but don't worry, more the story will go and more the chapters will be longer!
I hope you liked it! Be free to comment and vote! 🕺🏼
I also wanted to thank y'all for the 1,2k reads on 'my son'! Thank you very much! 💗
Stay safe!
