After the few advice Suguru gave to Satoru, it didn't take very long for the white-haired sorcerer and Sanae to get into some kind of relationship. It wasn't very a relationship, it was more the beginning of a relationship, as they had both agreed on. It was only to see what it would be like if they were together. It remained this way for a few weeks before the 'relationship' had naturally gotten more depth and meaning. And so in the end, they both ended up together, which was something to be expected, according to Suguru who kept saying to Satoru those first few weeks to 'Stop losing time already'. But even if Suguru kept saying it was a waste of time, Satoru thought the opposite. In those few weeks, he had still gotten closer to Sanae, and he had learned a lot more about her, and same goes for Sanae who also got to see another side of Satoru, so for both Sanae and Satoru, these few weeks were anything but a waste of time. The people who knew about Sanae and Satoru could be counted on only one hand, which included Suguru who was the first one to be made aware, then followed Shoko who wasn't very surprised that her friend had gotten into a relationship as he had been acting weird for some time already, so she already had a vague thought about it, then by accident, Mei Mei had also been made aware. She wasn't supposed to know, but she somewhat knew, and the trio never got to know how she discovered it, so that is why it is considered an accident, and then lastly was Nanami. To say he wasn't happy was an understatement. He was very much pissed off, but when he would see Sanae happy, he simply couldn't remain angry anymore. He was relieved seeing his best friend happy, but he remained protective of her, making sure nothing would happen to her. The one who had told him had been Sanae herself, and the surprise she felt once she learned that the white-haired sorcerer and the blond sorcerer already knew each other as they attended the same school. Satoru had told her they were friends, but she only needed to take a look at Nanami's face to guess that it was a lie.
It stayed like that for a few months. For four months to be more precise. After four months of relationship, four months of regularly seeing each other every week, overnight, the six-eye user had stopped getting any news from Sanae. Complete silence from her side. he had decided to wait a few days before asking Nanami if he had heard anything from Sanae, but quickly, the two sorcerers became even more worried as they realized Sanae hadn't contacted either her best friend or boyfriend in days. They kept trying to contact her several times, calling her many times, and spamming her for many days. At one point, they both had decided to go check where she lived with her parents, but the house seemed empty as if no one had even lived in it.
But no matter how much they both called or searched for the girl, the results always remained the same, and they always came back with nothing. It was as if Sanae had disappeared from the earth overnight, leaving behind her nothing but memories of the past for the people who knew her to reminisce on. All they could really do at that point was to keep on trying, in hopes that maybe one day Sanae would finally answer their desperate calls.
They had to wait 6 months before that day eventually came. Satoru had accidentally stumbled upon her one day. He doesn't even remember where he had found her, but it was way too far than he liked and he had finally understood why they had never found her until now as Satoru and Nanami had only searched around the suburbs of Tokyo, thinking she might not be too far, but they had made a mistake of thinking so.
The first thing Satoru had noticed when seeing her after six long months was the evident growth of her belly.
It had taken him a few seconds before processing the information that Sanae was pregnant, most probably with his child- No, it was undeniably his child that Sanae was carrying, it was obvious and he instantly knew he was the father the second he had felt the cursed energy coming from Sanae. The child she was carrying in her was most definitely his and there was no denying that fact.
