The year is 2020. As society thrives on. The earth begins to crack under pressure. From huge and heavy citizens crushing the ground. Mines draining the inner crust for resources. Drills sucking out gasses and the earth's life force. Pollutants filling the air. As humans casually toss trash on the streets. Only for rain to wash it into rivers. Killing lives in the echo system. Plastics trickle into every fiber of the planet. Poisoning it until the earth has had enough.

As a new manufacturing company opens it's smoke stacks for the first time. The ground rumbles and breaks under it. Swallowing it in a lake of lava coming to the surface without warning.

Earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, typhoons, tornados, and sink holes plague the earth. Leaving no one safe from the wrath. Within days, farms dry up, forrests burn, and humans are almost all but extinct. Now, after one hundred years. Humans are pushed back to simpler times. Ones without technology. Scattered across the h e globe. Humans make deals with the spirits of local powers. Spirits that speak for earth, and have the power to recreate mass destruction. Yet even so. Humans still try to gain control. There's a legend of a spirit be8ng killed by a human, and it's power was given to the human.

Now postures try to gain power by killing animals in booms and poisoning it with plastics. In hopes of capturing spirits to gain power. So the beings stay hidden, and use their powers to fight back. Causing a war between man and nature.

3rd person pov:

As humans row through swamp lands in search of food. A man with red hair and sharp teeth pulls on a rope that's hung from a branch over the water.

Kiri:"Looks like we got a bate stealer. Could be the spirit. So watch out."

A blonde male with shoulder-length hair steps on land.

From afar, a hand with moss on the palm closes in. Causing roots to wrap around and drag the blode into the swamp. So another blonde jumps out to cut him free.

Baku:"Idiot. You're in the den of a beast. Get going. I'll hunt for us."

Denki:"You can't fight it alone."

Kiri:"It's fine. He's done it before. We'll be waiting outside for you. Just be careful."

As the two men row away. Bakugou pulls out his plastic knife, and heads deeper inside.

While walking, he sees a rabbit trapped in old trash. Plastic ring trap used from old times. Originally used to hole bottles together.

As the rabbit cries out in pain. Bakugou lifts the knife above. Only to bring it down. Before long, the rabbit runs away as bakugou collects the trap.

Baku:"Damn them. Things wouldn't be so bad if people picked up after themselves."

As bakugou walks. He cleans up everywhere he sees plastic.

Baku:"I'm only doing this as a favor. Now give me something in return."

*hiss*

Bakugou turns around to see an alligator following him.

Baku:"That's more like it."

With a stab of his knife. Bakugou drags the creature to his boat, but as he goes to put it in the boat. It flips and dumps him into the water.

Baku:^Shit, I slipped. Hopefully the catch is safe.^

As bakugou tries to swim up. Something has ahold of his leg. When he looks down. He sees a lounge chair has wrapped its plastic bands around his ankle.

As bakugou pulls. His air is running out fast.

Baku:^No like this. I can't die here! Not until I kill that thing.^

As bakugou begins to black out. He sees vines and roots wrap around him.

Baku:^Damnit...... I can't......."

Bubbles escape from his lips. Only for a kiss to give him air. As roots pull him ashore.

Since his ankle is injured. A touch of the mossy hand covers it in a sap looking liquid. Before thin bamboo fibers form a bandage around his ankle.

Bakugou briefly opens his eyes. Only to see a human figure standing over him.

Baku:^Who are you?"

A soft voice speaks as the figure rubs his head.

"Thank you for helping. As a reward. I grant you and you alone safe passage. So long as you clean out the poison and take only what you need."

When bakugou wakes. He finds himself on his boat with the plastic and his kill. At the time. He was only sixteen.  That was five years ago. Now he's the primary hunter of his village. Feeding two hundred people.
