Izuku's pov:

As I walk through the night. I see tall pillars sticking our of rubble. So I walk up to them.

Old sky towers from a century ago now have crumbled. Some still stand. A reminder of the power human's once had. When I walk inside. I see doors dangling off the walls, furniture broken, or withered by the elements. Water damage on the walls and ceiling. As mold and fungus grows atop carpet. Windows broken and sand blasted.

When I walk to another door that was closed. I touch the door knob and it crumbles away. So I push it open. Only to see bones of a family laying in bed. Plastic tubes coming from the bigger one. As two children lay beside it. All are covered by a thick fabric sheet. While nuzzled together.

My heart aches from the sight. So I go to another room. Only to see a body hanging by the neck.

Each room felt like a different horror.

Heads blown to bits, bodies in tubs full of red gunk as their body decayed in water. So I walked outside again and by this point. The sun began to rise. That's when I heard a crunch under foot. I looked around and saw hundreds of bodies. Then I noticed what I had stepped on. It was the arm of an infant. One who's mother was crushed by rubble and left to die.

As I ran away from the horror. I only saw more. Bones sitting in metal contraptions. Trapped inside or under buildings. Some were even killed by a mountain full of them that crashed down.

When I finally left the city ruins. I saw tons of people hanging upside-down while bound by chains or ropes. Wooden signs were hanging over them with a carving.

<God wants us home.>

I kept running until I saw a hill. Once over it. There was grasslands with cattle and farm land. With only a few houses. Fifteen at most. I head down to see what's there. Only to be met with a rifle pressed to the back of my head. So I raise my arms.

Enji:"Who the fuck are you?"

As I try to turn to face him. He pressed harder.

Enji:"Don't move! Now answer my question. You got one minute before I blow that mossy head clean off."

Izu:^Should I kill him? No. That would only enrage the others.^

I retract my thorns and take a breath.

Izu:"Easy there. I'm just a wondering spirit in search for a human. I don't wish to cause trouble. If he's not hear. I'll be leaving right away."

Enji:"A spirit huh?"

I grown a flower out of my hair as proof. So he puts his gun down.

Enji:"Help us, and I'll tell you what I know. You see, our spirit isn't doing his part, and I wanna know why."

I turn to face him and see someone who feels defeated.

Enji:"Our fields keep burning just before harvest. This has been going on for twn years. Now only my family is left to tend to them. We offer to clean up the land, and tend to the animals. In exchange for a bountiful harvest.

As we talk. He shows me around. That's when I see something that causes me to flinch in fear at the sight of it.

As I step back. The human looks over at it.

Enji:"That damn scarecrow. Ever since my wife put it up. We've only had bad luck.

The scarecrow has a straw hat. The hair is made of black wool that's formed into thin strings. The head is a hemp sack with button eyes. The bag is burned under the eyes and sticker smiling mouth. The outfit is rapidly torn long coat like cape and a white under shirt. The pants are jeans with torn out knees.

Enji:"She used some of our oldest son's clothes. Since he has no need for them anymore."

Izu:"Where is he?"

Enji:"He's been missing for years. We've tried looking for him. Even the spirit helped us. You see, it was actually touya who opened communication with hawks. I feared that he would've been spirited away from us. So I tried to keep him safe. That's when he went missing."

I look to see his fists balling up.

Enji:"I don't want to blame it because we need the food, but I'm at a breaking point. So please help us."

Izu:"I'll do what a can."

As we walk away. I feel as if I'm being watched. So I turn around. Only to see just the scarecrow.

Bakugou's pov:

When we get to the docks. I see a purple fin swim up. Then three knocks.

Den:"I'm here babe. I brought bakuhoe with me."

Baku:"Tch. You are shifty hair with the nicknames."

I then see the dumbass take off his shirt and pants before jumping in.

Baku:"Idiot. That thing can kill you."

I look over to see them spinning in an embrace. The merman with purple hair. Its fin gentle wrapped around that moron before they kiss. Then he comes up for air.

Den:"He wants to meet you."

Baku:"No way in hell. I'm just here to help carry food."

Den:"He said if you want to eat. You gotta jump in. It's not like you have midoriya anymore. His swamp has dried up. Our scouts said so."

Baku:^Does that mean he's dead? No, he wouldn't die that easily.^

Denki grabs Bakugou's ankle and dives down to pull him in.

Baku:"Shi-"

*SPLASHH!!*

When I open my eyes. I see two figures infront of me, and what I saw caused me to swim back.

Baku:^A siren and a sky spirit?!^

I blink a few times and rub my eyes. Then it goes away.

The merman offers me his hand to shake. So I slap it away. Oy for him to come closer.

Shin:"You smell of swamp water. Yet you aren't a spirit. Tell me something human. Did you kill him and take his power?"

Baku:"How can I answer when your tail is around me?"

The merman's fin tail has spilt into tentacles. Each restraining me under water.

Shin:"I can hear your thoughts. Now answer me."

His grip around my torso tightens. Causing me to release some air.

Baku:"I have no clue what happened. All I remember is getting shot and waking up beside deku. I don't even know how long I was out- wait, that's right. I remember now. I was shot and he pulled me out of the water. The last thing I remember was him crying over me, and his face splattered with blood."

Den:"Kirishima didn't tell you? It's been two years since you left."

Shin:"Who shot you?"

Baku:"I'm not sure, but based on the blood. They're most  likely dead."

The creature releases me and pushes me close to the surface.

Shin:"So long as you help keep the waters clean. I'll provide food."

Dumbass kisses its cheek before swimming up. As he swims. The creature follows. Only to reach and stop short of breaking the surface. As if there were a wall keeping it in. I get on the dock and see fish jumping into buckets. So I turn back. That's when a strong breeze blows. Causing me to shield my face.

As I squint. There is a brief zap in the air, and I see it go into the bolt in that idiot's hair.

Baku:"What are you?"

Den:"What are you talking about bakuhoe? I'm human just like you."

3rd person pov:

Off in the distance. Mic sees a light flash from denki, into the water, and back. So he smirks before walking into the church.
