Isabella's heart was racing as she looked around the unfamiliar room she found herself in. The last thing she remembered was being kidnapped by Hunter, and now she was alone with him in this strange place. She shivered as she pulled the blanket tighter around her.
Suddenly, the door opened, and Hunter walked in with a tray of food. "Good morning, Isabella," he said with a smile. "I hope you slept well."
Isabella just glared at him in response. She couldn't believe he had kidnapped her and taken her away from everything she knew.
Hunter set the tray down on the bed and sat down next to her. "Isabella, I know you're angry with me, but I promise you I had a good reason for bringing you here."
Isabella raised an eyebrow in disbelief. "And what reason would that be?" she asked, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
Hunter leaned in closer to her. "I want to show you the world, Isabella," he whispered, his breath hot on her neck. "And I want you to experience it with me."
Isabella felt her heart rate increase as Hunter's lips brushed against her skin. She knew she should push him away, but a part of her was drawn to his dangerous charm.
As the days went by, Hunter showed her all the amazing sights and sounds of the foreign land they were in. Isabella couldn't help but feel excited and alive, even though she knew she should be scared and trying to escape.
One night, after a particularly romantic dinner, Hunter leaned in to kiss Isabella. She felt her knees weaken as his lips touched hers, and she found herself falling under his spell.
But as the night wore on, Isabella couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. She had seen a darker side of Hunter, and she wasn't sure if she was ready to fully embrace it.
Just as she was about to voice her concerns, there was a knock at the door. Hunter quickly got up, his demeanor changing from loving to cold and calculating.
Isabella watched as he answered the door and saw Jonathon standing there, his eyes blazing with fury. She knew that her life was about to change forever.
The chapter ended with Isabella caught in the middle of a dangerous love triangle, unsure of which man to trust and terrified of the consequences of her decision.
