I've always known I was different from the others kids on the playground back in 1st grade. I had a more vivid imagination and a mind that could handle it. I knew who my friends were and never forgot them. I knew who my enemies were and kept a reasonable distance from them. I was book smart and street smart, and I had the brain to hold it all.
But that wasn't it. I was protective. A body guard to my friends. I head-butted a 4th grader in the gut when I was in 1st grade because he was picking on my friend.
I know. I sound like a total jerk that full of himself right now. But I have my bad qualities as well and I completely acknowledge them.
