I never really got the whole point of dating.
I know. Shocking, right?
Since I never truly got dating truly, I never really "fell in love."
What's that I hear? The heartless beast never fell in love? That's a twist for the ages.
And I lost my train of thought again.
ADHD, I'd curse you if you didn't give me most of my sense of humor now a days.
Where was I?
...Oh yeah!
Dating to me was like deep space to astronomers. I truly had no idea what it held, and at first, I was scared. Whenever a girl tried to get close(besides my sister), I would casually push them away. It was only in 8th grade did I realize how beautiful dating truly was.
Don't get me wrong. Dating and couples still confuse me. I still have questions that need to be answered sooner rather than later.
Getting back on track, I had my first attempt to a date in 8th grade when I asked a girl to a dance. Sadly, she declined. Lucky for me, I learned that I move on quickly.
It was also in 8th grade that I had the one-day girlfriend.
It was only this year that I got back on the saddle.
I don't want to use her real name, since it's rude, so I'll just call her... um... give me a second.
...
Here! We'll call her Jane because I seriously don't know any Janes.
As you can tell, I haven't seen the sunlight in 7 years as well.
In all seriousness, though, "Jane" and I got together this year, September 9th. It took all my courage and strength, but I did it, and we're still going to this day. I'm happy. She's happy. We're both happy.
Even though I have a girlfriend, though, I still don't get the reason of couples. Half the time, I don't know what to say, and then I just look like an idiot.
Oh well. That what love'll do to you.
