"Should I write a letter?" Suggested the raven haired boy.
Remus did a facepalm before saying, "no, go talk to him in person."
"But I don't want to," Sirius whined like a five-year old as they walked down to the library, "I still can't believe you forced me to come to the library with you."
"That's because Regulus is always there and I am going to also force you to talk to him."
Sirius huffed while they sat at a seat that was two tables away from Regulus. The sandy brown haired boy took a seat and opened up a book to which Sirius raised an eyebrow at, "aren't you coming with me?"
"Who said I was," Remus shrugged.
Sirius groaned as he made his way to Regulus' table. Without asking, he took as seat next to him and smiled at him. Regulus looked confused why his brother took a seat next to him.
"What are you doing here?" Regulus raise an eyebrow.
"To talk," Sirius simply said.
"I don't want to talk to you," Regulus looked away.
"Pleeeeeeeeeease," Sirius pleaded while doing his best puppy dog eyes.
"No"
"Please"
"No."
"Pleeeeease."
"No."
"Pretty Pleeeease."
"I said no!" Regulus whisper shouted.
Sirius gave him an offended look, "how dare you shout at me like that."
"I didn't even- never mind," Regulsu shook his head.
Sirius abruptly grabbed his brother's hand and dragged him out of the Library that made Regulus kept shouting at him to stop. Once they got to the courtyard where there weren't many people around, Sirius finally let go.
"Why do you have to drag me like that?!" Regulus scolded him, "Now my hand hurts."
"Too bad," Sirius shrugged before continuing, "Reg, please, listen to me."
"Well if it mean you will leave me alone then alright," the tousled hair boy crossed his hands across his chest.
"Please forgive me Reggie," Sirius started with a hopeful look on his face, "I feel really guilty. Im sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry."
'It's okay', said a voice in Regulus' head but another one said, 'no, don't talk to him, he is not your bother anymore.' Regulus wanted to listen to the first voice, but then he has to deal with the consequences with his parents if he talked to Sirius. He does't know what to say. He misses Sirius, he really does, but his parents are making him stop.
'No, he is a blood traitor, don't forgive him. If he was you're brother, he would take you with him,' said a voice in Regulus's head again. That's true, Regulus thought, but- no, but he- no.
While Regulus was having an argument with himself, Sirius was tapping his foot on the ground impatiently while he waited for an answer. He missed his brother a lot. It was different when they were kids. Regulus was the sweetest boy you could ever meet when he was younger. But now Sirius is mad at his parents for what they have done to him.
Regulus shook his head slowly as he backed away. He said nothing as he ran back inside the castle.
Sirius wanted to cry. He really did. He never cried in Grimmauld place before. This always made Lyra and Regulus jealous on how he can do that. You see, he hides all his emotions and pretends he is happy all the time. He taught this trick to his siblings as well.
That night, Sirius went near the Black lake, or as he would call it - 'My Lake.' He sat near the edge of the clear waters and gazed up at the starry night sky. He always came here, whenever he feels upset or wants a place to think. Suddenly out of nowhere Sirius heard a meow. He looked down to find a furry black cat with grey-blue eyes.
"Oh, hello Starlight," Sirius smiled as he picked up the cat and put her on his lap. The cat - Starlight - always came to Sirius whenever he near the Black Lake since his third year. He doesn't know who she belongs to but he always pretends she is his cat. He named her Starlight since it is a very pretty name and also he loves the stars.
Starlight purred as Sirius stroked her silky dark fur. He is unaware that the cat is his twin sister. Lyra turned into an animagus at the end of her second year. She had noticed books about animagi creep up onto Sirius' desk. Being curious as she is, she stole a book from him when he wasn't there and started studying it. Soon she succeeded turning into an animgus - a black cat.
Now, Lyra was unaware that Sirius is an animagus as well. He was a big scruffy black dog, just like his star was called, the Dog Star. You all know the story by now. The three of the marauders discovered Remus was a werewolf in their second year. They tried as hard as they could to turn into animagus to help their best friend. They finally succeeded in their fifth year unlike Lyra.
"I tried to talk to Reg today," Sirius said, "but he just went away. Just like Lyra."
Starlight didn't say anything or didn't meow anything. She felt honesty bad for him. For some reason she couldn't. She just couldn't talk to him. As their parents told them, he is not your brother anymore. But she wanted him to be. She loves him even if it hurts.
But she is jealous. Jealous that he has a normal happy life. But again she is happy for him at the same time.
She loves him even if it hurts.
