Down a flight of stairs and rusty metal doors was the winding path of an underground shelter. As two individuals navigate their way with nothing but their dim flashlights lighting the way.

"This one looks intact." The man muttered. He had been to these kinds of places before and yet none of them looked this pristine, it was unusual to find shelters that were 'untouched' so to say.

Yet this one looked rather clean, the metal doors leading into the bunker were luckily unlocked, but some were welded shut and took some time to break open. Curiously enough, those welding lines seemed haphazard, it was all over the place and it wasn't very tidy.

Going through a door that seems to lead to the main lobby of the bunker, the man looked around for a few seconds. "It's abandoned, but it looks fairly new."

The woman looked towards him for a second before scanning her gaze around the lobby. It would be pitch black if it weren't for the flashlights.

"Maybe we should find the electrical room so we can turn on the lights?" She suggested she'd do fine with their dim flashlights as she can see perfectly fine, but she wasn't sure about the man next to her.

"Yeah, it's hard to see anything right now, the room's gotta be nearby" he nodded to her suggestion.

The two made their way through the dark lobby as they searched for any signs of the room containing an electrical closet. The woman's eyes looked around the area as she remained following the man.

The man finally found the electrical room. He carefully entered and went through the different metal closets housing all sorts of dusty tangled cables and switches.

It didn't take long until the sound of the power surged through the structure and lights lighting up one by one. Though it appears that not all lights turned on as it left some corners in the lobby shrouded in light shadows.

Now with a clearer view of the lobby, he saw that it had a wide open area and multiple doors leading to different places. The woman suddenly felt somewhat nostalgic as if it brought her back somewhere deeply buried in the recesses of her memories.

The man walked out of the room and noticed the woman looked somewhat lost in thought. "Come on now, snap out of it miss." He snapped his fingers in front of her face, as she blinked and turned her gaze to him.

"You feeling alright?" He asked with concern was a common occurrence for him to notice when the woman appeared to be slightly out of touch with reality as if she were stuck in a little world of her own, but this time she looked lost instead of appearing to be in her usual daze.

She pulled a slightly strained smile "I'm fine, it was nothing" as she turned off her flashlight, "Well sir, where should we start?" She asked, "The power is probably running in most areas of the bunker now right?".

"Probably, but for now we should split up" The man sighed contemplating whether the current bunker was safe or not, his eyes then drifting onto the floor map on the wall. "We should cover as much ground as possible, we don't know how big this place is."

"You take the west wing up to the telecommunications and see what you can find and I'll take the east wing, hopefully there are some equipments left in the storage rooms." He instructed as he pointed towards the bunker map, "We'll meet back here once either of us finish looting."

The woman silently nodded before the two went their separate ways.

From one door to the next, the woman carefully went through a few rooms. There was nothing in particular that caught her eyes until she entered a small room that had a few old grey radio equipment strewn along the walls.

In there sat a table that had a grey radio box, its controls, and some sheets of papers littered on the table. It looked familiar, as if she had been to some place like this before. Then she saw what looked like a window leading into the neighboring room.
