losing you

Kirito's POV

"Nooo, I don't want you to go!" My friend cried as my parents broke the news that we are leaving. "There has to be a way, why can't you stay?"

"Sorry Asuna, we have to our work is keeping us busy." My mom said to Asuna." But Kirito can stay. I don't want him to leave. "Asuna said hugging me and crying as I stood there still processing the moment.

"Darling Kirito has to go with his parents.You wouldn't want him to be separated from his parents, would you?" Asuna's mom said pulling Asuna away from me." And would you feel if we go with out you?" Her father added up.

I saw tears in her eyes that can feel up the ocean. At the moment I couldn't even speak let alone walk and hug my friend.

"Of course not but...." Asuna was cut of by her mom. "Now stop crying." But Asuna cried even more thinking of how her best friend was leaving.

While Asuna was crying on her mother's shoulder, Kirito was in other world thinking of how they had just promise to stay together.

FLASHBACK

"Hey Kirito, have you ever thought of how Asuna is going to survive with out you?" My kindergarten friend asked me a very weird question. I gave him a confused look." What are you talking about?" I asked him. "You know...she is always around you and always depends on you."

" I don't know what you are talking about. " I said." Seriously, you are 🤔... always protecting and standing up for her. Have you ever thought that someday you might have to leave your friend, what is she going to if she relies on you too much and ..."

" You are wrong! We are never going to separated,so stop talking your nonsense." Six year old friend (Asuna) said trailing my friend." We are never going to get separated okay."

"I was just saying..." Asuna trailed him off once again." Well stop saying such words" Asuna took my hand and took and she took me off like a rocket ship.

" Asuna come down we are never going to get separated. He was just asking. I promise, I'll always be here with you. " I said trying to come down the angry cute friend. "Promise?" She asked. "Yes we'll never ever get separated and if we do I'll search the ends of the universe just to find you again." I said." Well you don't have to search for me cause you'll never leave me, we'll never get separated."

" Now let's pinky promise to never get or let anyone separated. " She said smiling." Yeah, lets. " And we promised

END OF FLASHBACK

I suddenly got back to reality hearing my parents and Asuna's parents in panic. I saw my unconscious friend on the ground. It felt like a hundred arrows were shooted really right into my heart seeing her on the floor.

" Asunaaaaaa!!!" I shouted running as fast as a cheetah to reach my unconscious friend. "Asuna wake up please you said you'll never leave me and I'll never leave you.

" Quickly call the doctor."I heard our fathers calling out. The doctor flew in the door and quickly got her to her room. Moments later the doctor came out and said " she is okay she just fainted due to stress and shock, so I think it's better you don't shock or stress her."

"But doctor we have to leave and she is stressed about her friend leaving . So what do we do. "I propose that you don't tell her that or she won't be able to survive and she might end up having a heart attack." He said.

" So you want us to just leave without telling her? Won't she be angry and sick?" I asked. "She won't get sick from a heart attack but maybe others and she might feel betrayed but it'll pass as long as she doesn't have another shock."

" Okay we understand we won't tell her we'll say that they are not going." Asuna's father said.

Hours past and Asuna finally woke up I hugged her with a smile that was obviously fake. " We are no longer going away we don't have to leave." I said dishonestly. " Really you aren't leaving that's great but are you sure I don't want you to be angry" she said her smile slowly fading away.

" No I am happy too" I smiled. "Asuna you know no matter what happens I'll always be you friend right? I'll never put you at risk and everything I do is to protect you." She looked at me in confusion. "I mean I'll always love you...as a friend."

"..." She still looked confused

"Yeah and I'll always love you too." She said and hugged me. Moments later she fell asleep on my chest. I quickly laid her on the bed and I looked at my sleeping friend for the last time and kisses her on the forehead.

"Goodbye" I said.

I got into the the car and tears fell down my cheeks. "I'm losing you forever." I said leaving her house.After a while I couldn't see her mansion
