Meeting the night in shining armor

Asuna's POV

"Pip, pip." I heard a sound. I slowly opened my eyes. I saw machines and people scattering around the room. Once I woke up I heard one say "doctor, doctor, she's awake." A man quickly came to me. "How are you feeling." He said. "Where am I?"I asked in a low paining voice.

" You are in hospital. You got into an accident. You were hurt but not hurt the way you've been hurt if you weren't pushed just on time." He said. " Who pushed me? "I asked remembering the push." There is a young six year old boy who pushed you although he didn't do it on time. You were both hurt but he was  badly injured because he took the fall for you. "He said

" He is the same age as me? Can I see him? "I asked." He is in another room and he is stable now but how are you feeling?." He asked."My body feels heavy and hurts." That should be normal. Well you are okay, you'll be discharged after the pain is low. And as for seeing the boy, you can since he has been asking about you ever since he woke up. "He said.

" For now rest and your family is out side to see you. "He continued, going towards the door and opened it.

Narrator's POV

The doctor closed the door and Asuna's parents stood up from their sits." How is she? How is my baby? Asuna's mother said. "She is stable but she is still in pain . It could have been much worse if it wasn't for the boy who helped her." You truly are indebted to him." The  doctor said.

"We shall always thank that boy but can I see my daughter?" Asuna's mom said." Go ahead but don't give her any kind of stress.

Asuna's POV

The door opened and I saw my parents coming in. Mom hugged me. "Asuna, how are you dear." She said. "I am fine mom." I said. "Why did you jump in front of a speeding car like that! If that boy wasn't there, something worse could have happened to you!" My dad said as flew a fuse. My heart sank.

"I'm sorry." That's all I could say.

"You should never scare us like that." They both said like they rehearsed it. "I won't promise." I said.

Silence took over the room. So I decided to speak knowing that if they spoke , they would speak of Kirito and I wasn't ready to talk about him.

"Who is the boy who saved me? Can I meet him?" I asked." They both looked at each other and the nodded. "Of course you can meet him. We owe him a lot to that boy, so of course you can meet him." Dad said.

"But firstly consult the doctor to see if you can get out. "Mom said." He already said I can see him."I said." Okay you can go. "

I walked towards his room while steadying myself on the wall, trying to keep my balance. When I reached his room door I took a breath and slowly opened the door. There he was sitting on the chair next to his bed.

Our eyes met and it felt like time had stop. I smiled awkwardly and then he smile back. He stood up and  took small steps toward me while I was frozen in one place. When he reached to me his smile grew even more as he hugged me.

That was odd regarding that we have never met before and we were complete strangers. Not to continue on the awkward hug I spoke.

"Thank you for saving me." I said.

He broke the hug and looked at me. His eyes were as black as the night sky. He kinda reminded me of Kirito.

" It's okay, I am just glad that you are save.But I am sorry that I wasn't there on time." He said." Why are you saying sorry. I am the one who is supposed to be sorry."

Silence took over the room then asked" can I know your name? "

" My name is Eugeo Yujio"hey said.

" My name is Asuna Yuuki. Nice to  meet you Yujio-kun." I said

" You don't have to be formal. You can call me by my first name you know an I already knew who you were. "He said smiling." Okay Eugeo kun but how do you know who I am? "I asked curiously.

" It doesn't matter. What matters is that you are save and smiling. If I get to see you smile like that I can be your knight in shining armor at anytime. "

All I gave him was a smile.
