Meeting An old friend

Narrator's POV

Ten years have passed since Eugeo lived with Asuna and since Kirito left. Asuna's parents were still not back from their trip but they video chat with her as much as they can.

Eugeo and Asuna now attend  SAO ACADEMY. The academy is a fighting academy. From the first day Asuna and Eugeo came to the academy, they have been the strongest students there. They have just finished their first year and they are going for their second year.

Asuna's POV

First days at school are always the best ones and most unexpected. This year's we are going to work in groups of four and in those groups we shall be separated into pairs. I really hope Eugeo is my partners and group mate. He has my best friend ever since Kirito left.

"Asuna let's go." Eugeo said in an excited voice. "Seems like I am not the only on excited to go to school. Although I'll be more excited on my birthday." I said.

" Right, next week is your birthday. So how do you plan to celebrate it and what gift do you want?" He asked.

" You are suppose to just surprise a person, don't ask a person what they want or it won't be a surprise." I said.

" Well you are the heiress on  the Yuuki cooperation. You family literally owns the world. You can have everything you want just by snapping you finger. So you really think someone would know what you want. " He said not as a question but a statement.

" Well there is something I want but let's just go to school. It's not like it is ever going to happen. So get in the car and let's go. We don't want to be late, now do we. "I said entering the car. The one thing I want in this world is something I'll never find.... Kirito. My best friend. Even though he left me, I still miss him and I miss him a lot. Not even Ten years of separation can come close to him being my best friend. He was like a brother to me.

"So, what is that something?" Asked Eugeo, interrupting my thoughts." Ah.... nothing figure it out yourself. " I said quickly before he sees through my thoughts like we can see through water.

Eugeo and I have become so close for the last 10 years. He knows everything about me, just like Kirito did. He knows when I am deeply thinking about something and usually that thing is Kirito. It seems like he hates him so much yet they haven't met and have so much in common.

"Come on Eugeo, get out of the car." I said. "We are finally here, now get out."

"God you're like a child who just received her lollipop. Relax, the school is not going anywhere. So chill out." He said with an annoyed voice.

"Yeah, I know that the school is not going anywhere where but the time is surely going somewhere and if it reaches there we are doomed. Now get moving cause you are moving like a turtle on land." I said pulling his hand to make sure he was speeding up.

" Fine, geez, relax Asuna." He said as I just rolled me eyes.

"Asuna!" My friend yelled my name."Alice how are you. It's been forever." I said excitingly.

" Fine and you? She asked.

"Fine."

"Oh how are you Eugeo-kun?" She asked as her cheeks turned a slight of red. She totally like him. "Ah, fine and you?" With the sound of confusion. Why was he confused? I asked myself. "Fine." Alice said the blush never leaving her face.

"Asuna, were you not the one saying that 'time is surely going somewhere and if-"

"Oh yeah, it's almost time up so let's go. " I said interrupting Eugeo and taking his hand and Alice. If I am group mates with anyone, I would prefer the two of and the other group member I wouldn't worry too much about. Probably one of my friends.

"Okay students, this year is gonna be lit. We are going to go from a fighting school to an all talent school. Meaning when you do your second year in SAO ACADEMY, you move from fighting to things like singing, dancing, focusing more on you family or elemental power and etc. Cool, cool. " Our instructor said. She is also our teacher. She is the coolest of all our teachers and instructors.

Wait, did she just say singing. As much as I like fighting I also like singing and I am very good at it. Okay, yeah, I am pretty much good at anything I pick up.

"So we are going to begin first with the groups and you guess as group are going to do everything together and when I mean together, I mean together." She is cool but when she means business, she means business.

"Firstly, there is a new student here, who I would like for you all to meet. Come in!" She shouted as the door opened.

A boy entered the door looking at the teacher so I couldn't see his face. He had black hair. A bit mascular. He then turned around to face the class. My breath got caught in my lungs and for a second I couldn't breathe.

Those eyes, their blackness,the way they  took away my breath. No matter how long we have been separated, I'll never forget those eyes. Even if I was just a kid,I'll never forget him.

Kirito.

But I didn't know how to feel at the moment. Should I feel happy that what I wanted came true or should I be angry that he left me after we made a promise.What should I be feeling right now? I am ready confused. 

Snapping me out of my thoughts was Eugeo. He stood up from his sit. You could see blood of anger through his skin. His hands were now in fists. Without warning he lunged at Kirito, pinning him against the wall.

What the hell was happening?
