In the boundless expanse of shimmering cosmos, a silhouette of a girl floated, almost indiscernible. The inner light of her spirit was gradually waning.

[BINDING COMPLETE]

A mechanical voice echoed through the void. The dwindling light within her spirit ceased its fade, and her eyes fluttered open. Bewildered, she scanned her surroundings, finding nothing but the radiance of distant stars and the infinite void.

[Congratulations on your successful binding, host]

Binding?

"What do you mean?" She felt a storm of confusion brewing within her. She couldn't recall anything about herself, not even her own identity.

[The host was bound to this system previously in the netherworld. The host no longer had the opportunity to reincarnate because your soul was too fragile. The administrator of the netherworld offered you a chance to fortify your soul in exchange for your service... by completing tasks assigned by the higher-ups.]

"What missions?"

[There are countless worlds within this universe, and the host is one of the few taskers permitted to traverse each world. The missions for each tasker vary, but the host's task is to fulfill the wishes of the customers. By accomplishing these, the host can strengthen her soul with the reward points.

The worlds are categorized into four different levels of difficulty: D, C, B, and A. Each level offers varying amounts of reward points, the higher the world's level, the greater the reward.]

"But why can't I remember anything?"

[Due to the frailty of your soul, to assist the host in binding with this system, the administrator forcibly sealed the host's memories. However, don't worry, as you grow stronger, your memories will gradually return.]

"Hmmm...okay"

[Each tasker is assigned to ten worlds. Afterward, the taskers are granted a wish of their choosing... whether to reside in the Haven place or to return to their original world.]

"When do I start?"

[The host may begin now]

[The host's first world will be classified as a D- level... Good luck, host.]

The vast space abruptly warped, and the tiny lights flashed with blinding intensity. She closed her eyes as her consciousness started to drift away. Darkness once again enveloped her, and she felt herself being drawn into an unfathomable abyss.
