Vivianne"She was the only one up there she had to been the cause," Someone was saying.
"Better hope not, if he finds out a human did that there's going to be trouble."
"I'm not going to tell him, but it's not as if he won't find out- there's going to be a trial after all."
My head lolled to the side as I tried to open my eyes, I was greeted with a filthy room is you could even call it that. From what I could see, there was a brick wall the the left of me, and bars in front of me and a dirt covered floor.
It looked like a jail cell, but not one from our town. The bars had glowing blue lines wrapped around them, I slowly sat up wanting to get more information on where I was but I was only able to sit up on my elbows, only to be greeted with two strange looking beings with an even weirder look on their face.
They were orange, and had dull spikes on their body at least from what I could see. Not to mention a set of tusks that made me wonder how they were able to close their mouths let alone talk.
"Oh good you're awake."
"Where- where am I?" I stutter out.
"In holding." One answers simply while the other just glares at me, clearly he wasn't a fan of me.
"Why? And who are you?" I ask as my voice raises in volume I was beginning to get scared and frustrated. More than anything I just wanted go home, back to my mother and father, where we could be a big happy family again. My mother! I saw her, she's still alive I was right!
"We can't tell you that, but what we can say is you may wanna make yourself comfortable you're going to be here a while." The one with the scowl says breaking me out of my thoughts. And with that they saunter away, giving me no answers and a whole lot more fear.
Across the room in a cell much like my own, sat an older looking man. He reminded me of my father, especially with the way he was staring at me. He was sitting on the floor directly in front of the bars, I hesitantly lifted my hand up and gave a wave.
He merely starred back at me like I had two heads, with a roll of my eyes I decided my best bet was to ignore him.
I fully sat up this time, only I moaned out in pain the moment I did. I looked down at my stomach where the pain was coming from, and noticed something particular, blood. That wasn't the only thing though, a sharp throb was coming from the back of my head as well. I hesitantly reached my hand up to feel, I brought it back down and was grateful to not find any blood.
I lifted up my shirt, and found a wound trying it's best to scab over. Not well enough though because it was still bleeding...
"Are you injured?" A male voice asked.
My head shot up and I locked eyes with the man across from me, he seemed concerned but suspicious at the same time.
"It seems so,"
"Did they do that to you? When they brought you in?" He says lifting up his head trying to get a better look.
"They brought me here?" I question back, that would explain how I got here even though I'm not entirely sure where here is.
"Yeah, do you not remember? That's odd."
"I've been told I'm quite odd, though my friends usually use the term quirky. And no, I don't remember anything after that flash of light and hitting the tree." I explained in a rushed voice.
"Oh that flash of light was three nights ago! You've been asleep that entire time?"
"Yeah, you saw the light?" I answer his question with one of my own.
