"Are you one of those American reporters?" Fidel asked you. "Y-yes, I am. I'm here to do a report on you and your revolution." "Is that so? Well, let's get started." He took you to the dining room in the Palace for a luncheon with all of the other Comrades.

You looked around at all these people, all kinds of political leaders, not just the ones who were famous but many more who had been behind the scenes, making sure everything went well for Cuba.

"Okay, first question: What made you decide to take over Cuba?" You asked Fidel.

"Well, I wouldn't say 'taking over', we actually liberated Cuba from the hands of Batista and the American imperialist."

"So how does it feel knowing that you are running the country now?" you asked him.

"It feels good because I want to build up our economy and make Cuba independent."Do you have any regrets about overthrowing the dictatorship?"

"One thing I regret is not slapping Batista in the face while I still can." Everyone laughed at Fidel's comment. He was such a funny guy.

"And is there anything that you would like to change about the government?"

"No. Our goal was not to change anything. Our only goal was to change the political regime in this country."

Later in the day, Fidel personally took you back to your hotel. When you arrived, he walked you up to your room and said, "You can come to the Presidential Palace anytime you want." He pats you on the head and leaves. I would never understand why the US would want to kill him.
