This is a side story of GGO Alternative for The Ghost of Aincrad because I did like it a lot. Some dates could not make sense, so I am changing some dates.
A kid Atreus was outside of his home as he was firing a couple of arrows at some targets.
After a few moments he heard his Father's voice from behind.
Kratos: You're getting better. Faster.
Atreus: My stats have improved, so yeah.
Kratos: Not just that. Your own skill and instinct. It's getting better.
Atreus: You think so?
Kratos: I know it. That is why I want to give you something.
Atreus: Hmm? What is it?
Kratos walked to him before grabbing something from his pouch as he handed it to Atreus and he saw it was a knife.

Kratos: After our journey to the World Tree, I made two knives. One for me. And another one for you, when you were ready. I believe you are ready now. You have showed me you have the courage to take action and the mentality to take responsibility. Both great qualities of a warrior.
Atreus took the knife as he looked at it and smiled.
Atreus: Thank you, Father.
Kratos nodded with a feint smile.
Kratos: Come, you should rest a bit.
Atreus: Alright.
They then headed back to the cabin, but as they were about to enter Atreus turned around and looked a bit confused.
Kratos: What's wrong?
Atreus: Do you hear that?
Kratos: Hear what?
Atreus: It sounds like an animal.
Kratos: What does it sound like?
Atreus: Like it's in pain...
Kratos: A player must be hunting it. Do not dwell on it.
Atreus: No... It sounds like it's being... tortured... We must help it. Come on!
He said before running into the forest.
Kratos: Hmm.
He didn't say anything before he followed Atreus.
After a few minutes, Atreus then saw a group of players around a wolf pup with small wings.
Atreus: Leave it alone!
The players then turned to him.
Player: A kid? Hey, hey. Are you lost or something or something?
Atreus drew his bow and aimed it at him.
Atreus: I said leave it alone!
Player: Look, kid, you might wanna go home, I assure you, you don't want to fight pros like us.
