"Gosh Jason! Do you really need to elaborate on how bad I am at sword fighting?" I yelled as I dodged another swing of Jason's sword. Jason laughed but (unfortunately) didn't stop. Ten minutes later I fell back onto the grass. I was battered, bruised, and tired. I'll stick to archery, thank you very much. I glanced over and saw Percy hacking and slashing at the dummies we had set up for practice. Dang, that guy was seriously good.
I looked up and saw Jason stretching out a hand. I reluctantly took it and got up. "So, what are you planning on doing now that summer's over?" I puffed out my cheeks. "I guess I'll go live with my cousin. What about you?" Jason opened his mouth to respond but was interrupted by a Hermes camper running past and slamming a whipped cream pie in his face.
I snorted as I watched the pie fall to the ground. Man, don't you just love those kids?
