Thrawn silently regarded the woman lying in the hospital bed. She was a Chiss indeed. First one he saw in person in years and over three thousand years old for that, if the computer logs were correct and real.

She would be considered very attractive among his kin too. Slim body, defined, high cheekbones, full lips and black, silky hair.

Admiral glanced at their medical chef, who stood at the other side of the bed. "Your assessment?"

The man looked thoughtfully at his patient. "She is in good shape, all things considered. We cured the Rithian disease she was suffering from. According to the capsule logs that was the reason she was put in there." Medic frowned.

So whoever put her there had access to sophisticated tech but they were not advanced enough in the medical field to cure the disease she suffered from. Interesting.

"Lieutenant Alyss?" Thrawn addressed a woman in an Imperial uniform. "The tech you found down there. Anything resemble the design of these capsules?"

The woman shook her head. "None sir, but we didn't have a lot of time to look around. This place didn't exactly look like it was just abandoned though, more like it was hidden."

No similar tech. Was this technology alien to the people who used it? Or at very least uncommon? Thrawn frowned inwardly and asked. "What else were you able to get from the computer logs lieutenant?"

"Sir, part of the data is heavily encrypted. Our technicians are working on it but without the key it will take weeks to break it. The part that wasn't encrypted contained her name and medical data along with the date she was frozen." Lieutenant Alyss glanced in disbelief at the blue skinned woman lying in the bed. "Sorry sir, it's hard to believe she stayed three thousand years in the stasis."

"You said the other capsule contained a droid?" Thrawn enquired looking around.

Lieutenant nodded. "Yes, we took it for a thorough examination."

"Don't take it apart and don't activate it." Thrawn ordered and faced his med chef. "When will she awake?"

"Judging by her vitals I would say in about ten hours. We can revive her now but I wouldn't advise it." The medical chef checked his datapad. "She will be blind for some time after awakening from the coma and it will take a few weeks for her to regain full control of her muscles."

Doctor shook his head. "But it's all theoretical, we never dealt with someone hibernated for such a long time. It's a miracle she is still alive."

Thrawn nodded in acknowledgment. "Inform me when she starts to wake."
