home, sweet home.

I can't begin to explain how much I missed my old, creaky bed. or plain grey colored walls. or the way there was a slight hint of smoke in my room from when I used to smoke up here.

I was currently sitting on my small twin bed with a plain light blue comforter.

I just got home from the hospital about 30 minutes ago and oh god am I glad to be home.

Gabi and Calum were coming over to help me settle in and I was super happy they were coming over. they would probably end up spending the night.

my phone lit up with a text.

Calum: should be there in about 20. love you. XD

Arden: okay, see you guys soon... love you too, Cal. TELL GABI I SAID I LOVE HER TOO XD.

Calum: she loves you, too. you guys are dork. why am I friends with you two? XD

Arden: YOU LOVE US CALUM HOOD. YOU LOVE US ALOT. XD

Calum: YEAH YEAH. LISTEN, I CANT TEXT AND DRIVE YOU IDIOT. TTYL MY FRIEND. XD

I smiled down at my phone. that smiley face was something Gabi, Cal, and I all started ages ago. whenever we would text each other we put that face at the end. it was just another silly thing we did.

for the next 20 ish minutes Simply lounged around in my sweats a tshirt. I didn't really try because it's just Calum and Gabi.

I was listening to my Marina and the diamonds when the door bell rang. I figured it was Gabi and Calum so I went to answer it.

sure enough my two best friends were standing there with big smiles on their faces and candy in their arms.

Gabi's Pov:

"CALUM GET YOUR LAZY ASS UP. ARDEN IS GETTING HOME IN A FEW FUCKING HOURS AND YOURE STILL ASLEEP", I yelled at my idiotic boyfriend who was sell sleeping at 3 in the afternoon.

Calum spent the night last night. like he does most nights. now, before you get your panties in a twist we don't do anything. im waiting till marriage and Calum respects that.

"GABRIELLE FUCKING MILLER CAN YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP?", Calum screamed back at me.

that's basically all it took. I was in my bathroom doing my makeup just so I look half human. now however, i am currently racing into my bedroom where Calum was being a lazy potato.

I ran and jumped on his back.

"Gabi what the hell", Calum said rolling over making me fall off his back and onto the other side of my bed.

"you weren't getting up, Arden is getting home soon. you need to get up", I said shrugging.

"okay okay. I guess I'll get up", he said sitting up and rubbing his eyes.

"yay!", I cheered as I clapped my hands and gave him a quick kiss on the nose.

before I could get up however, he grabbed me by the waist and kissed my lips. I giggled against his lips and pushed him away.

"no no child. I have to get ready to see my best friend", I said standing up and walking away.

"you do know I'm older than you, correct", Calum said still sitting on the bed with nothing but his black sweats on.

instead of answering him I simple stuck up my middle finger and went back to the bathroom. I heard him chuckle behind me.

an hour later I was done with my makeup and Calum was finally up and in the shower.

I got a text from Arden telling me that she was out of the hospital. after I sent a quick okay back I knocked on the door to the bathroom.

"cal", I called through the door.

"what", he called back.

"Arden's out of the hospital. Hurry up, I wanna go see her", I said as I heard the shower turn off.

"okay, babe. I will be ready in a few", he said. my heart fluttered at the word babe. he's called me that before and each time I get butterflies. stupid feelings making me feel all girly and shit.

I turned around and went to my room picking out some comfy shorts and a sweatshirt. I also put my hair in a French braid to get it out if the way. stupid long hair.

I was just putting on my shoes when Calum walked in looking as good as ever in his sweats and a tank.

he smiled at me and I smiled back. I got up and wrapped my arms around his torso and he hugged my shoulders.

"I love you", he said.

"I love you, too", I said looking up at him with a smile. he kissed my cheek and let go of me.

"come on. let's go", he said clapping.

"you dork", I said passing him and going out to his car with him following behind me.

once inside his car he got out his phone to text Arden I assumed.

"Arden said she loves you", he said pulling out of the driveway.

"don't text and drive, you fucknugget. but tell her I love her, too ", I told him while turning up the radio.

he chuckled and then texted her once again.

"ohhhh cal, can we get some candy", I asked.

"I guess", he said while quickly turning into a grocery store.

10 Minutes later we were arguing over what candy to get. in the end I one because I slapped him when he suggested we get twizzlers. I fucking hate twizzlers

once we got some candy we were heading to Arden's again. I got excited. I miss her. and I'm glad she is out if there. I know how much she hated it.

the ride to her house took about 10 more minutes and then we were there. Calum and I grabbed all the candy and walked to her front door. I rang her doorbell and waited for to answer.

when she did I grinned.

"OH MY FUCK YOUR WEARING REAL CLOTHES", I yelled. for the last Month she had been forced to wear a hospital gown.

"really, Gabs?", Arden says with a giggle.

"you love me", I said as I entered her house.

"yeah, yeah", she said rolling her eyes play fully.

"you love me!" I screamed.

"I do love you", she screamed back.

"hey guys. I'm still here", Calum said raising his hand.

we both just laughed and shook our heads. i missed hanging out with these two idiots.
