Hello all. I need to address something that has been bothering me for a while now. Recently, I ended New Guy on the Street and gave it an epilogue and everything. Since then, I have been getting a lot of upset comments about the ending that now I'm going to address and answer one by one.

PSA: If you're featured in here, it's not to embarrass you. I promise.

Stylinson_ships: Can u please write like an extra chapter where there's a happy ending with larry bc they were cute in this book.

I would, and I would have made the ending much happier and better but that would mean no sequel. My plans have been for a sequel after I finish the new version of New Guy on the Street.

I actually haven't decided how I want the new version to end. It needs to end somewhat closely to this one so that the sequel will work. I know it's sad, but it's all for a good reason.

Well, yes, I guess I do write bullshit... Kinda the point.

Anyway, sorry I can't please each and every one of you, but just you remember that this is my story and not anyone else's. If I want a sad ending, then dammit I'm going to have a sad ending. Like I told this person, if John Green kept Gus alive the book wouldn't be as successful as it is today.

However, if you are mad, please don't approach the situation like this person. Don't take a stab at the new version, which you haven't read btw, just because you hate this one. Sorry it's unfinished babes. Can't really help it. I'm not a super sonic writer, and I actually have a life outside of Wattpad that doesn't include making the mean ones happy.

FAQ's:

Q: Why are you writing a new version of the story?

A: To me, the old version is terrible. I want there to be a new version that runs all together like an actual book rather than be so choppy and gross like the original one. If you like this book, that's great. I just have plans for better.

Q: Why are you making it a whole separate book rather than just keeping it on this one?

A: This one has too many comments and votes to do that with, in my opinion. I just want a fresh start for the books.

Q: Is the new one actually worth reading if I've read this one?

A: That's totally your call. I personally think that the new version is going to be better, and different. There will be more characters, cuter love scenes (I'm still not sure about smut yet, which has been asked about btw), and just an all around better story.

Q: Can you put up the sequel with the new version so we don't have to wait?

A: As much as I'd like to (and really I would bc I'm super excited about the sequel), it wouldn't work that way. The sequel is to the new version, not the old one if that makes any sense. Things from the sequel could easily throw off the new version if I posted it early and that would be a disaster.

Q: Are you actually going to update the new version?

A: Hell. Yes. I took a break from the last one due to depression, but during that break is when I decided for the new one and actually began to spend my days planning that one. The whole thing was stressful and there is no way in hell I'm going to waste all of my hours I spent on not updating.

Q: Will the new version have a happy ending?

A: Probably not. Sorry. The ending is what makes the sequel happen. Will it end the exact same way as the last one? Who knows. But I do know that Harry and Anne are going to run away from their problems one last time. That's just how it is.

Q: What is the sequel going to be about?

A: It's going to be three years in the future. Harry is going to be graduated and headed to college. He'll decide to go to college where Louis went, telling his mom it's for the psychology when really his main goal is to find Louis. When he finds out that Louis has moved houses, it makes the task even harder. Basically, the book will follow Harry on his journey to find Louis as well as their rekindled romance, which will be completely different due to the circumstances.

Overall, I hope this explains some things that were confusing to others. If you have anymore questions to ask about it, feel free to DM me or even comment here about it. I'm sorry if I upset anyone, I truly am, but you guys have to remember that this was the plan all along and I'm not suddenly going to change it because everyone hates me. There wouldn't be a sequel if this didn't happen.
