I walk into the woods in no particular direction. I think to myself I am completely lost. I wander around for at least another hour before I come to a road. a passing car stops and asks if I need assistance. "oh well I was wondering how far away cannon falls is. could you tell me please?" I smile politely. "well its about 10 miles in that direction Miss." I must have had an astonished look on my face because he asked " would you like a ride?" my face heats up and I can tell that I am blushing very hard. " yes please. that would be so kind." I climb in next to his wife who smiles at me sweetly. she opens her mouth to speak."So... how did you end up out here?" I start to say that I'd turned into a wolf and wandered out there, but thought better of it." I was with my f-f-friend and I uuh I we got into an argument and she dropped me off there and told me to walk." I stutter and close my eyes tightly knowing that she will know that I'm lying. instead she snorts. "well that's not very nice now is it?" I look up surprised. " n-no mam."
