During the history class we talked about the different wars throughout the history. We watched a small educational film about it before making a test on paper. The bell rings meaning the class is over. We collect our things before the next class starts and we head over to Economy classroom. Valerie obviously couldn't wait for the class to begin after yesterdays encounter with Mr. Carter. I smile at her enthusiasm as we enter the class. She wants to sit in the front to sit right in front of him. I really do not like to be in the front seat since my old class used to call me a nerd because of that. The last years, I sat in the back for that reason but I would always get picked to answer anyway, since nobody else knew the answer. Valerie sees me looking at the chairs in the back but then pulls me a long with her.

Mr. Carter walks inside the class room and takes a seat behind his desk with a serious look on his face before showing us the pile of papers he is holding in his hands. "Time for the test." He says with a smile. Valerie groans loudly. "It is not always fun. There is work that needs to be done." Mr. Carter tells her with a smile as he hands her the papers. "I noticed." Valerie mumbles before getting a pen from her pencil case. "Prepare yourself, doll. It isn't any different when we get older." Elijah comments as he writes his name on the sheet in front of him. Valerie sighs, rolls her eyes as she writes her name on the paper with her blue pen. This is her 'good luck' pen since she seems to get the best grades when using it.

The bell signal is heard 15 minutes after I finished filling in the last question. We were allowed to collect our things and quietly leave the room when we finished. I decided to wait for Valerie and the others in the lounge as I drink from my water and eat the muesli bar that I took with me this morning. The others slowly come in and are holding their own conversations. Either about the hard test, family matters or other subjects.
Tommy, someone that works for the school's newspaper drops a pile of the freshly printed newspapers on the bar top before leaving the room. "He is such a nerd." Heather comments as she watches him walk off. I roll my eyes at her rude comment about him. He is a very smart guy. That is all and nothing to be rude about. I focus back on the notes in my notebook when a caption in the newspaper catches my eye. I pick the newspaper up and see the list of courses discussed yesterday.

The newspaper is my bag when the bell rings. Geography was dismissed since Mr. Hamlet is ill so we got two hours of Physics instead. For me it is a good thing to learn more and get my work done before the bell rings announcing that the class is over. For some reason the school day is shorter since the teachers have a meeting with the board to discuss a few matters concerning the school.

Chester and I went to a random cafe that we saw in town the other day. They sell different salads, Bagels and sandwiches. We take a seat in one of the booths and wait for the waitress to take our orders. "For me an Ice Tea and the Tuna Melt Bagel." I order. When Chester has made his order, the lady smiles at us. "Your order will be ready soon." Dana, as the name printed on her tag, tells us before walking away towards the register.

A man dressed in all black outfit and a brown coat walks inside and greets Dana as he sits down on of the bar stools. She seems to recognize him and happily takes his order before disappearing to what seems like the kitchen. Chester takes my hand and kisses it before placing it on top of his. "I love you." He tells me with a smile. "I love you too." I tell him.

"This tuna Bagel is the best ever." I say as I collect the last bit of the side salad with my fork before putting that bit in my mouth. Chester nods agreeing with me as he just finishes his Chicken Chilly bagel. I order a hot chocolate after Chester ordered a flat white coffee. The waitress comes back a little later.

When we finished our drinks, we pay and then head off to leave the cafe. The little bell, placed at the entrance, goes off as we step outside the small building. I adjust my coat and scarf as the cold wind blows into my face. The walk back is quick since it is a short walk to the house and since it is freezing cold outside. As soon as we step into the house, Ethan comes running towards us. "Oh finally. You are home!" He says as he grabs Chester's arm. "Sorry but this is something huge." Without saying anything else, Ethan pulls him away and leave to go to their bedroom. I take off my scarf and coat before hanging them up on the coat rack. Quickly, I run up the stairs towards our bedroom. My shoes go in the wardrobe before I put on a pair of black leggings and a grey over sized sweater that I find in the back of my wardrobe. My eyes scan the room. There is a massive pile of books, magazines about wellness and mindfulness. This desk top is making me a little anxious so I decide to clean up a bit. The door opens and Valerie walks inside our bedroom. "Amy, have you seen the magazine about mental health and such. I have been looking for it." When I hear the subject, I hold the pile of magazines up for her to see. Valerie smiles and takes it out of my hands. "Oh there it is." She takes one of the magazines out of the pile from my hands. "Maybe if you would put things away properly than you wouldn't lose it." I tell her carefully. We have had discussions about this before. "We have so much more things to do than clean up." Valerie tells me as she changes into their work out clothing before putting her hair up into a ponytail. "Like working on our mental health. Instead of focusing on other stuff that just makes us more anxious." Valerie tells me hinting towards her activity for the afternoon. "Well, clearing our messy desk is something that makes me less anxious. Just like working out does that for you." The words seem to make her think. "I have never realized that. You have got a good point." She tells me as she puts on her trainers. "I will see you later." She smiles before walking out the door of our room.
